    Rock Werchter 2019

More fuel to the rumours that Editors are the Sunday sub. They've just announced a festival in France on the Saturday, would be easy to make their way to Werchter from there for a Sunday evening show.

I'd say we are still missing smaller subs on Thursday and Sunday. Can see Thursday being Christine & the Queens and Sunday being Editors. And probably missing these major spots too: Thursday - Barn headliner, 2x afternoon main stage, Klub C sub Friday - Klub C headliner and sub Saturday - Barn headliner, Klub C headliner, 2 x afternoon main stage Sunday - 1x afternoon main stage, Klub C sub Can see those spots being filled by some of these: Foals, Biffy Clyro, The Wombats, Robyn, Interpol, Hozier, George Ezra, Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip, dEUS, Lily Allen, Greta Van Fleet

So are we thinking for Thursday it'll be: Bastile -> Pink -> Tame Imapla/The Chemical Brothers ? Then I'm guessing we only have the sub for Sunday as the last big main stage age, which will probably be Editors? Hopefully we have a few more names in the Barn/Klub C today or tomorrow, especially for the Sunday - we only have 3 names for that day so far. I'm hoping some of the heavily rumoured acts get confirmed - Foals, Elbow, Christine & the Queens, Vampire Weekend, Hozier, Frank Turner.

This looks very good, and pretty realistic I think. It could be a little too strong, but Werchter have already surprised us with how strong the Friday main stage is, so they could pull this off. In regards to Biffy Clyro, I thought they were playing a couple of shows around Werchter, but double checked and they are later July and early August. So they probably aren't too likely this year, maybe 2020 instead. And Thom Yorke would be great, but I just didn't have room to fit him in. Would he be Barn headliner if he plays, or is he too big for that?

I'm thinking maybe Editors as a subheadliner to Muse, and an electronic closer after Pink (The Chemical Brothers or The Prodigy)?

    Rock Werchter 2019

From previous lineups it looks like the subs are still pretty big acts, so I'm going to go with this: Thursday: Pink and The Prodigy Friday: The Cure and The Chemical Brothers Saturday: Mumford & Sons and Florence & the Machine Sunday: Muse and Editors

Thanks for the response, much appreciated. I think we will keep an eye on how quickly the tickets are selling, and make a decision from there if we buy them or hold off. Sounds like The Hives is definitely where we would want to be then, it seems a lot closer to the festival grounds too. Okay sounds like Glasto for alcohol then, we usually bring 3 or 4 bottles of spirits per person in plastic bottles. So that will work well for su if we can do the same. I'm assuming you can't take this alcohol into the actual festival grounds though?

    Rock Werchter 2019

Myself and a few mates from Australia/UK are thinking about doing Rock Werchter next year, as a backup option for Glasto (we missed out on Glasto tickets). So we are hoping to get Glasto tickets in the resale. Failing that, we would like to go to Werchter. Is there is a normal time period when Werchter tickets/camping sells out? As the Glasto resale is in April, ideally we would like to try for that, and if unsuccessful, then we would buy tickets for Werchter. If Werchter sells out before this, is it easy to buy tickets early for Werchter then re-sell them if we get Glasto tickets too? If we do go to Werchter, is the Hive camping worth the extra price? We would ideally like to arrive on the Wednesday, so I'm guessing this is the best option, rather than normal camping? And also, can you take your own alcohol into the camp sites, or is it only available for purchase?

I agree, probably West Holts headliners. Is it perhaps possible for them to sub the Other Stage instead?
