Don't get me wrong, Let Down is my favourite Radiohead song, but I don't think it translates brilliantly live. Similarly with Burn The Witch, don't think it's great live, and if they don't open with it then I can't see where else it would fit well into a set. I think it'd be cool to see an older tune as the opener at Glastonbury. And HTDC is quite a rarity, so although possible they'll play it, I tried to keep it more realistic.

I know this isn't real, but picturing that as the Glasto 2017 setlist, and reading down the list as if it was definitely going to happen, it made me die MASSIVELY inside because of no Nude, All I Need or Talk Show Host...or Let Down!!!

 I'm off to see them in December to tick another one off the list and I'm probably more excited for Babymetal. Were they not supporting, I probably wouldn't have bought a ticket.

Foos were patchy at MK though. I mean, they were good, but there was something missing, particularly after Iggy Pop.

But then I have heard the same about Radiohead - there's something painfully hit and miss about them live.

just seen a comment in another thread, that says the Open'er booker says he booked RH for next year at the end of 2015.

That suggests that RH were booked for Glasto at the same time - and also fits with the timing that the guy who was telling me RH for 2016 heard what he heard.

So I'm now wondering yet again if what he heard was always for 2017.

Same here. First 3 tracks on Pablo Honey are OK, but the rest is poor. Only Creep to be played at Glasto please, purely for the sing-a-long. 3/10.

 

Definite step up with The Bends, I'd probably only want Fake Plastic Trees and  Street Spirit (Fade Out) played at Glasto though. 6/10.

I didnt even enjoy You that much on pablo. But yeah, I'd have creep at glastonbury, it would definitely improve the atmosphere. Thinking about you was ok-ish in a bland sort of way, and another slow one who's name escapes me.

As for the bends, I'd have the 2 you mention. Or planet telex. I really enjoyed nice dream too for some reason.

I'm doing the same (without Pablo Honey - I don't need to listen to that again to not enjoy it again). Looking forward to getting on to Amnesiac and HTTT, as I don't listen to those nearly enough.

Question for those who know more about these things than I - which non-album tracks are most likely to get played live? As a strict album-only listener I'll have to make the effort to brush up on these!

Yeah, when I read what that guy said it made total sense of the confusion surrounding this year.  Yer man didn't give you duff info, he only had part of the info.  So he was bang on.

Considering the "Coldplay in 2015" thing turned out to be for 2016, and now "Radiohead in 2016" has been confirmed to be for 2017, does that mean the previous "Daft Punk in 2017" rumour is actually likely for 2019?

the booker of Governors Ball festival is also on record as saying that major headliner-level acts plan their tours 18months-2 years in advance now, and so would be well booked a year in advance, so that wouldn't be all that surprising.
