  1. If you're not planning to sleep on Sunday night, I'd suggest packing up your belongings on Sunday and storing them overnight at one of the lock-ups. That way, you can go directly to the bus station on Monday morning.
  2. Guess it'll be just me and Liam then
  3. You know what, you're right. @jntsrb shouldn't have to be the only one upholding Janet's honour in this thread, because they're not the only fan. And if they can't be there on Saturday, I will. Because I was at this show in 1990, and although she may not be able to sing and dance like that now, I can't wait to see it on the Pyramid.

I thought the 'film by Paul Thomas Anderson' might mean a special preview at the Pilton Palais or Cineramageddon, but apparently a 'one reeler' is only 10-12 minutes.
  5. Lauryn Hill never retired, she's been touring almost every year since 1998. She just never released another album.

    That's referring to Clive Deamer.
  7. Good point. The question she was answering was " What kind of things do you have to plan for ", and she lists a number of things that haven't actually occurred at Glastonbury, but did happen at other festivals. In 2010, Coachella had a number of cancellations from artists and bands who were in Europe at the time and were unable to travel due to the volcano eruption. I assume Emily mentioned that as an example of something that could happen to Glastonbury as well, and then something got lost in translation.
  8. Hm, the last text I got through ifttt was April 7. I do recall seeing an email from ifttt about changes in their text service, I guess I'll need to look into that.
  9. You know who also loves flags?

  11. To be fair to Voltaire, he never actually said it. It comes from a 1906 biography by Evelyn Beatrice Hall, in which it was intended to represent a summary of his thinking on free speech issues. “I did not mean to imply,” she wrote later, “that Voltaire used these words verbatim.”

Indeed. Still, is it formal fetish or casual fetish? The dresscode is dreadfully unclear. And Friday is Janet Jackson Night, so I guess I *can* wear my old Janet tour shirt to Glasonbury this year! Or... not? I still get confused by those t-shirt rules as well. Also, I noticed there's no Kylie Minogue Night, so I'd say that settles the debate on who's more popular.
