The Bends is still up there in terms of albums for me; I listened to it at a very formative age. I'm not doing a full list but In Rainbows, Kid A, AMSP and OK Computer would also be top five for me.

I've just realised I've been a fan of theirs for like 20 years, which is mad really. Waited a long time for this moment.

Amusing scenes in the headliner thread as everyone cries about Stone Roses. Couldn't be less bothered.

I'd decided before Emily said anything that what I'd heard about DP was bollocks, on the basis that it very specifically said Friday. With RH being announced for the Friday it had to be wrong.

Yeah staircase is tremendous. We got that at the o2 on the king of limbs tour. That gig was one of the best times I've seen them. Imagine this set at glastonbury, the crowd would be in uproar

I dunno if they can be guaranteed complete and unquestioned adoration from a Pyramid crowd in 2016.  They probably shouldn't play any b-sides, non album singles or deep cuts off their less popular albums.

the setlists they've been playing on this tour/recent festivals are as fan service as you can expect from Radiohead - setlists i never thought they'd do. the biggest obstacle is gonna be keeping casuals interested for the first 3/5 song new album run that they've been opening their shows with (if they stick with it come the next leg of the tour) - after that, if you remotely like Radiohead, it's a good time all round

even as a huge fan i'd lie if i say i wouldn't be slightly disappointed by russy's setlist posted above. probably fantastic on the night, but really new album/obscure lesser known song heavy

I really dont think they will start with the 3/5 songs off the new album at glastonbury. I desperately hope not anyway. I wasnt keen on going in to the roundhouse gig knowing precisely what the first 5 songs were going to be. Part of the excitement of gigs is the anticipation of what they will play next, especially if they have a big back catalogue like radiohead.

It's why I hate full album shows.

People like different stuff. That's the reason Radiohead will be my first headliner since The Stones.

Beautiful piano part. Then Jonny's guitar. Pin drop silence when I saw it live on the KOL tour. I didn't realise they played it on this tour? What date was that? Staircase is even better though (imo).

been playing Creep regularly on this tour and it'd surprise me if it didn't get played at Glastonbury

tremendous, your night would definitely go down better at glastonbury. Wish I;d got tickets for both nights, but tickets were £70 or so if I remember rightly (and could you only buy for one night? Cant remember now)

A lot's changed in 13 years.  Attention spans are a bit shorter.  Alternatives to watching Pyramid Headliners are now more widespread.

Fair but it's also thirteen more years since Creep. I think Radiohead can't be as much 'the Creep band' anymore and are probably just 'that band journalists and nerds try to force on you'.
