2016 hangover cures (bands)

There are plenty of bands lower down the bill that i've never heard of. Any shouts on bands that will soothe my head, or get the day going?

Car Seat Headrest 11am on the Park Saturday

What better way to ease a hangover than some good ol' fashioned 90's-esque alt rock? Gonna try and drag my group to this regardless of their almost definite reservations

Human Pyramids, Sunday 11:15, West Holts. 

I dare you not to be grinning like an idiot at a group of like 10/15 people playing happy music on loads of different instruments (including a xylophone). Stumbled on them at a festival last year and bloody loved every second of it.

Squeeze on Saturday, depending how Friday night goes it might be midday by the time I leave the tent and I couldn't think of a better start with the first cider and breakfast

This Is The Kit, 1pm Sunday, William's Green.  Saw these with a terrible hangover  at Camp Bestival in 2012.  Very chilled  and soothing folky kinda stuff.

A couple of these have been mentioned already but I'm quite looking forward to my Saturday and Sunday mornings of Haelos and Anna Meredith and then Human Pyramids and This Is the Kit respectively.

Davos with live Piano House, old-school stylee, then Touretteshero and then Cassetteboy.

Beans on Toast on the Greenpeace stage, Friday 12am (11am is far too early after the first proper night of the festival).

Four Tet: Morning Side in Stonebridge Bar on the Saturday.

Khruangbin on the Park, 11am on the Sunday.

Generally speaking West Holts is a great hangover destination, more often than not the first few acts of the day are quite chilled. 

Plus it's not too hectic, when it's dry there's plenty of space to lie down, there's a great selection of good food including a great smoothie bar, and there's 2 bars on hand for hair of the dog.

All this, and it tends to be as near as dammit to being 100% knobhead free (unlike the pyramid and other, unfortunately)

I'm counting on Newton Faulkner followed by Bears Den to sooth any gin induced kopfschmerzen on Sunday.

No idea if they are on this year, but in previous year I have seen "Harp for Hangovers" in the greenfields. Very gentle cover versions played on a harp, perfect if you're feeling a bit delicate.

Haelos 11am Other Stage Saturday, are very chilled out electro pop (they remind me of the Beloved, and once did an excellent cover of Sun Rising) - however the stage itself isn't ideal for them of for attempting to chill
