Seeing my sister's face when we arrive onsite, especially when she sees the view from the tope of the Park. It'll be her first time at Glastonbury so I'm so excited to show her how brilliant everything is.

I'm expecting LCD Soundsystem to be a moment, been waiting far too long to see them.

Getting up at 4-30am, setting off on the 4hr drive, parking up, taping everything to the wheels and loading up my back with everything else, (wristband on my non wiping hand of course) finding a camping spot to satisfy Herself, remembering how to bung the tent up, sorting out the inflatable mattress, making camp properly: and then FINALLY sitting down to crack that first beer open :lol:

oh god, I can't wait for that first beer!

All my key moments are about the place not the music.

First sight of Glastonbury Tor as we approach.  First sighting of a sign in the Glastonbury Font.  Getting the caravan pitched up and level and the awning up. Checking the gas and putting the kettle on and then cracking open a few cans.

Making friends with our neighbours and meeting up with old friends.

Any music is a bonus.

*Hopefully*

The moment I sit down after putting the tent up, and throwing everything in it. That is the moment the journey is finally over and the fun starts.

Speaking to random pissed people over the weekend about absolute shite and having a laugh.

Having a huge singalong at Baggy Mondays on the Thursday. Absolutely love it.

Musically I would have to say Underworld - Born Slippy, and New Order - The Perfect Kiss will make me pretty fucking happy.

    • Israel and Lebanon agree to a ceasefire...problem is Hezbollah, and problem with Hezbollah is Israel. Israel should withdraw, put onus solely on Hezbollah...who are already weakened, which would then strengthen credibility of the Lebanese govt. But with Netanyahu in charge that is unlikely.
    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival. Beer, Wine etc. 5€, Gin tonic, Whishkey Cola were 6-6.5€, food 10€    Is there a bus from the festival site to the city center? And are there any stops along the way? No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way. Nice to get to the festival but crowded from festival back to the city.   Where is the best place to find an Uber/Bolt to return from the festival site? Petrine ulica   Are there any shaded areas to take a break from the strong sun? Yes, i think there is some.
