38-21.

Although I'd rather it that Glastonbury pushed the boundaries for once with the headliners.

If its Radiohead then its a bit better but the three must've been decided one really hungover morning. Who can we get that I don't need to think about whatsoever?

If its Adele then its the most tediously establishment headline bill I've ever seen Glastonbury put on.

My nan will love watching it on the telly like. So thats alright. Long as the proper punters are happy. Long as the BBC is happy that David Cameron will be happy that there won't be any angry black sweary types polluting our royal great british telly channels this year then they might just get their charter renewed instead of being sold off to Rupert Murdoch (at the best price that they could possibly get for the hardworking british proper british royal britain taxpayer honest). And self obsessed perennial gap yah student Chris Martin might be made a knight (if he hasn't knighted himself already). For services to himself and to milksops the world over.

Tricky!  I'm not a huge fan of Adele, but would definitely rather see her than Radiohead.  But I also want to see New Order that night, and if Adele and New Order clash it will be a difficult choice for me.  Whereas if Radiohead play, it will be easier as I'll watch New Order.  But overall I have to say Adele, so

Adele would be a massive coup for the festival. I would be nowhere near the set.

44 - 24.

Muse, Radiohead, Coldplay is just too house band. If muse not noounced then I'd have said get both, but now they have been the other headliner just can't be radiohead.

This vote would be a lot more one sided if half of Adele's votes weren't from people who have zero interest in actually seeing her play.

Radiohead haven't headlined in 13 years so can hardly be called a house band.

If Radiohead just payed the first 3 albums and Thom Yorke wasn't such a dick I'd go Radiohead, but Adele would be a much more interesting headliner if you ask me.

This is the setlist from the last festival Radiohead played...

Lotus Flower

Bloom

15 Step

Weird Fishes/Arpeggi

Kid A

Morning Mr. Magpie

The Gloaming

Separator

Pyramid Song

Nude

Staircase

There There

Karma Police

Myxomatosis

Feral

Idioteque

Encore:

Give Up the Ghost

You and Whose Army?

Planet Telex

Everything in Its Right Place

Reckoner

Bodysnatchers

Paranoid Android

No? Me neither?

I have nothing against Adele. Glastonbury is too big a place to worry about not liking a headliner.

My main issue is that I firmly believe this is the last chance for Radiohead to headline the festival. Adele could play at any point, but it feels like a now or never scenario for Radiohead.

    • 13th Primavera (Thursday was definitely making me feel like this was the cursed year).  Blood Orange was such a party by the end of their set but we all knew that rain storm was approaching.  So gutted Massive Attack didn't play after the false hope of a new rescheduling, especially knowing that Elizabeth Fraser & Horace Andy were backstage with them!  Managed a bit of Melt Banana but was just so over the weather by that point.   Friday was awesome, Rilo Kiley were so much fun.  Never big the biggest Cure fan but made the effort for them & Robert Smith sounds like he did back in the 80s.  PinkPantheress & Viagra Boys were also great.   The highlight for me was Sudan Archives on the Saturday, she was stunning & with the Olivia Rodrigo surprise set too it made up for the Thursday sh*t show.  Dijon & Knocked Loose also superb.   Shoutout to Cardiacs on the Tuesday too, they were so LOUD, played a storming set.
    • OK, never mind, I'll take normal Nine Inch Nails.
    • Probably my least favourite of the five editions I've been to, but still plenty good enough for me to go again. Weirdly, I was just totally running out of stamina a lot earlier into the night than I remember happening in the past. I feel like I missed a lot of the weirder sets on the smaller stages as I was just totally cooked. Not Primavera's fault, obviously. Maybe I'm just getting old - or maybe I need to pace my drinking better...   Anyway - is David Byrne a realistic get for next year? Certainly hoping so.
    • watching clips of the cure in Barcelona, wow 2 hours 25 minute set. That's gonna be tough on the Sunday but can't bloody wait for it
