Don played before (or maybe two before) the Sunday Legend the year it was Paul Simon. Domestic battery aside, I doubt he'd suddenly be promoted up a notch on the back of sweet FA.

First time I ever saw him, or a full album show from anyone, was Pet Sounds. 2002 I think. Nice to see the songs but yeah, I don't like full album shows either.

Pet Sounds is only about half an hour long. Post Caroline No-o'clock, Big Bri will roll out a plethora of other delights.

Its the knowing whats coming next element that I don't like. Would much rather hear the tunes dropped into the set randomly. Knowing God Only Knows is in 6 minutes isn't as much fun as it dropping when you're busy pissing into a bottle of Volvic.

yeah that's my thoughts too. Plus there are always one or two that dont work live. The whole experience is unsatisfying really

There's something to be said for songs appearing in the order they should.  As Marc Riley said after playing Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing Reprise "and then it's Rebel Rebel".  You know Rebel Rebel comes next, there is a rightness and satisfaction that comes from hearing the songs in the correct, familiar order.
