EamerRed
As expensive as it is, I'm seriously considering this for general travelling and it could be handy for Glasto: https://www.amazon.co.uk/NOVOO-Portable-20100mAh-External-Smartphones-Grey-black/dp/B07C9S274T It might allow a couple more luxuries that I've not previously had at Glasto, something about taking that to a festival doesn't feel right though ? maelzoid
I will give a big up-vote for the coleman blackout tent. I got the 2-manner for solo camping last summer and it's great. Not tried it out in really hot conditions yet (it's meant to be a bit cooler), but was I ever sleeping in late rather than being woken by the sun. Not cheap but very light and comfortable. I’ll echo what others have said though. I was in there today and they had labels on the shelf for a Self-inflating Thermal mat £14.99, Sleeping bag £14.99 and 70L Hiking Rucksack £29.99. The Lidl I was in only had the rucksacks left, plenty of them though (no idea if they are any good). The sleeping mat looks like it is this type: https://www.lidl-ni.co.uk/en/special-offers.htm?articleId=13844 rather than the lilo one they used to sell.
Divein
I have the self inflating mat from Lidl from 2 years ago I think. I'd really recommend it.

These are most definitely trainers rather than walking boots, but if the weather is decent you cannot go wrong with a pair of nike fly knits. They pull on so no lace messing around and are will be the comfiest shoes you ever own! (I used to wear vans every year and my poor knees gave up in recent years at the ripe old age of 29, so find these a lifesaver!) https://www.prodirectrunning.com/p/nike-free-rn-flyknit-2018-black-white-mens-shoes-942838001-182109/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw2IrmBRCJARIsAJZDdxB3MCaIGD453Z1rLeEolXi6rnuTxZVxDJTogNsNDfQ6b9chWNftZQ4aAuo5EALw_wcB

They only had about five left on the Sunday they went on sale so we thought we better get a couple while we could, leaving three on the shelf. My husband went back (for something else) at the end of the week and they still had the three left and had reduced them!
Penrhos
Aldi have camping stuff in again - hopefully I haven't cursed the weather for Glasto but I bought a box of "Hard ground" tent pegs for £7.99 to replace the cheapo ones that came with my tent that got hopelessly bent out of shape in 2017. They also have cans of waterproofing spray - I'll get tent out this weekend, do a test erection and give it a quick waterproofing (just in case). I just need to find an actual shop that sells them so I can try them on!
