  1. I haven't but it seems others have.... lucky bastards
  2. I really found this too. The other 10% of the lineup is great, so much variety and different cultures and the like, but the 90% of it being DnB really grated on me. Walking out someone had dance music on a speaker and I just couldn't bear it, definitely need some time away from it!
  3. Does Orchid sell out? And is there a cut off? Think we may get it later today, getting too old to be in the mix these days!

CF walked right past us actually, didn't introduce myself but my friend shouted 'omg look at that hat!' and he glanced over and it was definitely him. Great to see some wider recognition for that masterpiece 😄.
  5. Best: VFC - the burger was outstanding the curly fries were spot on. Absolute junk food but loved it, right up there with Oowee in Bristol as the best vegan burger about. Also an honourable mention to Ice Green, best vegan ice cream I've ever had. Biscoff and Mint Chocolate Brownie with fudge on top, yes please. Also a mention for No Frickin Chicken, to be honest the chicken pieces were spot on in texture but over-seasoned, usually it's the other way around. But their Mac and Cheese at just £4 I think (or maybe £6) was great value for money. Worst: Can't remember for the life of me what it was called but it was to the side of the Pyramid before the left turn to San Remo. Some Indian/Sri Lankan place - was supposedly a chickpea 'roti wrap' - except they'd just used a standard Mexican wrap, shoved some chickpea curry in and not wrapped it at all. Decent bhaji/pokora there though.
  6. Had it pretty much every day in Sri Lanka for breakfast/lunch, though it's more of a dinner thing there. Top of the list for Sri Lankan food, outstanding stuff.
  7. The Sunday surprise act? Interesting 👀
  8. Haven't done Boomtown in a few years, not since it's new structure for releasing bands. Any idea when we will get any updates, will it be literally a week or two before the festival? Any chance of a drip feed beforehand? It doesn't make a huge difference for me but it's always nice to have something to get excited about.
  9. They literally have an option called 'Vegan Delight'.
  10. For me, Bunnyman's Bunnychow. It's like a hollowed out baguette with chilli and hummous thrown in, and the leftover bread is made into garlic bread. Love it.
  11. Wouldn't usually comment on a thread like this but I have this exact tent and it's ****ing ace. We use it all the time when we're back in the UK - got a blow up double bed also (not for Glasto mind) 🤣, take the duvet down and we have the most luxurious and cosy camping trips in it, and there's still plenty of space. It's really big and a bit larger to carry if you have it on your back but it's a really good tent. Just practice packing it away before you go as ever with the Quechua ones as there's a bit of a knack to it. It's not hard, just something you need to try once before you go away imo.
  12. I know, but the clarification that guy makes in the post makes me think he's a fair bit confused 😆
  13. 'H (as in the rapper not the sick disgusting bastard).' Can we assume he has the Steps H mixed up with the Lostprophets guy? Or does he really ****ing hate Steps?
  14. This is outstanding. An act telling someone that they themselves are playing is now somehow not a 'self confirm'. I mean, it's pretty much the definition of it. Jesus wept.
  15. I know he's part of the Glasto furniture now, but just saw Beans on Toast yet again. ****ing love the bloke. Said he has a day off tomorrow and has organised people who went to the gig to go have some beers in a park with him tomorrow. Legend.
  16. Very interesting, it's very likely Flea is just a fan though as they'd only be able to play the Friday. Pretty unlikely I'd say.
  17. £360 for RHCP... far and away the most I/we've ever spent on a single ticket. They're a band as a couple we've wanted to see for years, whether they're good or not the songs are strong, and they'd all sold out except for golden circle, plus add on the premium you pay in Australia. I don't regret it, it will be great, and is only a one off. 2nd place would be less than a third of that price.
  18. I mean, you twisted things so much that you called out one of his posts in a *prediction* thread (i.e. no sources, just a bit of fun), and tried making out that he was posting information, when it was abundantly clear to everyone that he was not. Everyone knows that posts in that thread are more for fun rather than info. And he posted it immediately after the last festival did he not? So it's quite clear that it wasn't him claiming to be in the know. That's the basis of you calling his perfect record bullshit. And you are the only person on this forum to have interpreted it that way.
  19. But AM were always expected, and Elton John is a great booking. So you're pinning all of that comment basically on GnR. What you're saying is that the entire lineup of the festival will be worse based entirely on the fact that GnR are playing. Which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
  20. I've absolutely no doubt that Glasto will sell out in the resale in no time at all yet again, with or without a GnR announcement. Though if some people want to give their ticket back on the basis of one booking then that's great for the rest of us.
  21. Well played @roughbloke, you certainly deserve an apology. A decent person would give you one. For this forum, it's a stinker of a trio. And if you let this forum shape your perspective, then you will be thoroughly miserable. For the majority of people, it will be ****ing great, as always, and I can't bloody wait. Reckon I'll get in at least 2 out of 3 headliners this year for the first time ever.
  22. Saw Arctic Monkeys in Melbourne last night, they played up until midnight, then we had the fireworks, and they came back out for a few songs after. I must admit, given what people said about them on here before at Glasto, I wasn't expecting a huge amount, just to like the bangers. I've actually seen them before in Dublin too, where I thought the whole thing was a bit flat and meh. But credit to them, they were absolutely outstanding. The newer songs are so much better live, there's more of a theatre to it all. I'm not going to pretend it will fit at Glasto for everyone, but the sprinkling in of the new songs with the bangers certainly created more of a show imo. There was a tiny bit of me seeing them last night to 'tick them off' so I can go elsewhere during their set at Glasto, but I think they just roped me back in!
