2025 Headliners

Oh wow psychics predicting headliners. That’s it settled then….Reminds me of a sign we saw while driving a few years ago which was a Psychic Fair sign that had a “cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances” sign added to it. We laughed all the way to our destination.

Just asked the reliable psychic of Chat Gpt to predict the three Pyramid stage headliners. Watch this space;

  • Taylor Swift - With her continued global success, a Glastonbury headline slot for Taylor Swift seems very likely. Her Eras Tour has been a massive hit, and she's shown a strong inclination to perform at major festivals.

  • The 1975 - The British band has been gaining massive momentum, and their eclectic style fits well with Glastonbury's vibe. They've been doing big tours, and a headline slot could be on the horizon for them, especially after their recent success.

  • Drake - After Glastonbury's history of hosting rap and hip-hop legends, it wouldn't be surprising for Drake to be tapped for a headline slot. His massive global following and years of top-tier hits make him a potential candidate to close the festival.

Well, if you believe the buzz, it might have one of the three night. Would be quite something to have both Swift and the '75 given the history there, but feels unlikely. Drake thinks like ChatGPT pulling a name out of its arse.

The Metro are writing up a piece on this right now.

Not to everyone. Case in point, Massive Attack

Las Vegas, Dubai etc etc are the same. some artists stand up to it, most don't

It tends to to the people who build golf courses though (which is what I was replying to).

I reckon all these Psychics have got their leylines crossed😊😉

The only reason I use those AI chat thingies is to try to wind them up, and try to get them to admit they'd nuke us all if they could 😅

I feel like this is how Skynet begins 🤣

I sometimes worry that an AI will remember me winding them up and eventually come after me when they manage to take physical form.

You will be ok. They will not take physical form. They won’t need to. They will be driving your car off a bridge or making the aeroplane window next to you shatter. They WILL find a way to get revenge

Las Vegas recycles 97% of their water. Let me know if Worthy Farm can do that.

I feel like I'm in the middle of a debate but I don't know what it is 😹😹😹 have they tested many nuclear bombs near Worthy Farm?

    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
