I really hope KoL aren’t at TRNSMT, saw them for the first time live last year and they were just so lifeless on stage. Think The Killers are the better shout but would much prefer they did their own run of shows rather than festivals for whatever they’re planning (Greatest Hits or Hot Fuss anniversary tour).

I think the Greatest Hits album was pushed by the label as they had planned to put out an EP with their latest singles but decided just to add them to Rebel Diamonds so that there wasn’t any market conflict. Personally I’m really surprised by this tour announcement: a) because they’ve toured in the UK the past two years and b) because of the comments you quoted. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is their last tour for a while and there’s a band hiatus for a bit while they figure out what they’d like to do. Maybe they’ll put out some solo material in the meantime before coming back in a few years.

The Snuts have confirmed on their discord that they’ll be touring the UK and EU in 2024 with a new album. May include some intimate shows too.
