I presume the rest of the album will be roughly more in line with Vampire than this.

Still solid enough and can see it being fun live (on the Pyramid stage at 10pm in June 2025 amiright)

Agree both here. It’s a song where she's tried to experiment more than she needed to and try to be 'current' and it just doesn't work.

She either has the rest of of Vampire and it's great or like this.

Just a carbon copy of Wet Leg and the less said about them the better. Also bits of Baby Queen which she has already done already and better. Very meh considering how good the first record was. It’s catchy though so I’m sure it’ll do well.

Yup, she very easily could’ve done and sold out a massive arena tour straight off the bat but was very vocal about not wanting to do that so did the smaller shows instead. Now that she’s on album #2 the arena tour is obviously gonna happen (and probably instantly sell out).

Swung by the R+L pages here to peg her as a likely headliner for 2024. Would be fascinated to see the venues she's doing. (I assume arenas, but the question will be how many, I think.)

Dropped into my library on the way back from the Siouxsie gig. It‘s a banger, some pretty hard hitting stuff on there too. The difficult second album is a good one.
