I'm sadly not going to the festival, but I love using festival lineups to find new music After seeing all the mentions of them I finally got around to listening to Barry Can't Swim, absolutely fantastic, definitely going to be on the regular rotation now

What did you think? I saw them at Barn on the Farm last year and really liked them, they seem to have had some pretty nice support slots recently too so seem to be on a strong upwards trajectory

They've really stepped up their game in terms of adding stuff on there, so many options now compared to when I started using it Almost at a point where they need to give out more plays because it's hard to decide what to use them on

Don't worry, I had the same issue, the choice of different symbols is not great No Father John Misty on the UK shows either, I was really excited when I first saw the poster as I thought it would be all of them

It's like when Glass Animals were nominated for best new artist at the Grammys in 2022, a full decade after their first EP came out

I'm going to be honest, I haven't listened to extended amounts of every artist nominated for every award, so I can't really say who deserved each award Maybe it's more of the macro vs micro outlook, looking at it overall I just don't feel she is of the level to sweep the awards, but maybe breaking it down award by award she does beat out the other nominees

I have no issue with Raye, I think her music is fine, but is she really "sweeping the awards" level of good? Maybe I am completely missing something but I'm genuinely shocked she has won basically everything

Haven't really seen anyone mention it but I am absolutely loving the Crawlers debut album that came out a couple of weeks ago, definitely been a grower on me

I've always wondered what actually gives you a higher chance, 3 normal plays or the 1 power play Just used all 12 of my plays, "won" 4 times but it was 2x 1 extra play and 2x power ballot entry, had me believing each time
