Anyone else "at work" today

For the last two weeks I've struggled to think of much else aside from Glastonbury, I've got shed loads to do today, its 11:15 and so far I have achieved nothing except think about the Big G, read about the Big G, and post about the Big G. 

I'm a f**king grown up, and am as excited as a kid in December.

I feel your pain! In until 5pm today, had cleared my diary completely and blocked it out with an 8hr "Worthy FM" meeting. Then got in today to find some joker has rescheduled a meeting to 3pm today. 😭

Got a to-do list as long as my arm today to make sure I can be completely off the clock for the fest. An absolute nightmare!

Had a to-do list as long as my arm on Friday evening - didn't want to be stressing so I worked through the wekend and all day yesterday to finish everything

Have screwed myself as now I don't have anything to do except think about tomorrow, at least working kept my mind busy.

I still have a day and a half to go, including a late one today with an evening meeting! Its a struggle to work as I can't stop watching the webcam and reading updates from people already on site, tomorrow will be even worse! At least once I finish tomorrow I can then just focus on the final prep/packing, and 'try' for an early night. Plan is drop kids at school Thurs am, arrive car parks midday, tent up and first can open by 2pm if we're lucky 🤞

All the managers in my office have gone out today to a meeting ,which for me is meaning even more time on efests, webcam, looking at live updates, and TBA announcements whilst watching the clock tick slowly.....🙄

Had very little to do for the last week or so and yet of course I've been stuck in a meeting since 8am this morning, sod's law! No matter what, I'll be logging off as soon as the clock hits 4:30, out of office is scheduled and ready to go

I'm at work. 4 meetings today which I'm giving minimal thought to. Other than that my mouse is on the Jiggler while I pack and look at efests and Clashfinder. I haven't thought about much else for weeks really. 

Finish at 5:30 ,then a lift to a b&b near the bus stop for my coach at silly o'clock tomorrow morning.

Coming up to the last 2 hours of work.  Just got to clean my desk and drop off some equipment and then my out of office will be on.

Did the majority of the packing last night so just got to do a few last minute things before setting off at 8pm.

Was a call with a new senior leader in my part of the organisation and he mentioned that he's currently in pre Glastonbury hype mode.

At home, blocked out my calendar entirely to avoid any meetings and managed to get basically all my work done this morning so I can get packed this afternoon!

i've had to come into the office yesterday and today - thankfully i had the good sense to do shitloads of work yesterday to pretty much get everything done so today i can concentrate on the business of doing 99% f**k all!

Had the auditors to deal with today so i've been relatively distracted - which has been a really good thing.  I'm logging off at 3pm and almost have all of my big jobs ticked off.  Almost time now!
