paulshane
'Giant Seaguls' are presumably one of the walkabouts? They are possibly my fave, potentially second only to the cavemen 🙂 Watching them descend on anyone walking with a bag of chips never gets old 🙂
DeanoL
Can sort of feel the pinch on this one as well. I trust them to put on a good show but it's notable some of the more famous tentpole bookings are absent this year - regulars like your Nish Kumars and Jonathan Pies and the more off-the-wall bookings like Ruby Wax or Dom Joly. buddiepaul
I caught Cirque Du vulgar last year, and it was quite a show. It's worth seeing, as it can be quite eye opening!
CantWaitForGlasto22
Magnificent Kevens are lots of fun. Seen them a few times at another festival and they always draw a crowd and their music is pretty feel good. Worth catching if you’re around. Joe wicks at Glastonbury will be interesting! Little Andy
Am I right in presuming that the comedians usually do the same kinda set as they're currently touring? I saw Phil Wang in Leeds recently, and he was great, but obviously I wouldn't see him if its the same material.
Festival Liam
No Briefs this year?

Justiceforcedave
Really pleased to be able to tell people that we (Bewilder Box escape rooms) will be back in the Theatre and Circus fields with our Portaloo escape room The T.U.R.D.I.S. again this year! This is our cool and groovy video from 2022 if anyone is curious. Can't wait to be back!

Some do, some do a more club style set, especially if their current show is quite narrative. They don't have very long, half an hour, maybe 45 minutes ish. Some just take the opportunity to dick around a bit.

DeanoL
Some research and my own info with best guesses as to where acts might be. There's a very blurry line between smaller circus acts and walkabouts, and many performers might be doing both. I've listed street performers as walkabouts but the "A Little More Sensation" stage is basically a fixed stage that hosts street-style performances. Stand-up (Cabaret Tent) The Very Best of Tommy Cooper (Just Like That) - sort of a Tommy Cooper cover act? https://danieltaylorproductions.co.uk/the-very-best-of-tommy-cooper/ George Egg - comedian, anarchist cook - http://georgeegg.com/ Phil Wang - comic, as seen on Taskmaster - https://www.philwang.co.uk/ Paul Foot - comic improviser/weirdo - https://www.paulfoot.tv/ Jamali Maddix - comic, as seen on Taskmaster - https://www.jamalimaddix.com/ Maise Adam - comic - https://maisieadam.com/ Laura Smyth - comic - https://www.laurasmyth.com/ Nina Conti - comic / ventriloquist - https://www.ninaconti.net/ Doc Brown - comic / rapper - https://www.docbrown.co.uk/ Circus (Big Top/Sensation Seekers/Little More Sensation) Jon Udry - Juggler - https://jonudry.com/ Cirque Du Vulgar - last year's circus headliners return, they're also Circus Fantasia which is the same show but without the tits and motorbikes - https://www.cirqueduvulgar.com/ High Society - trapeze act that are often seen at the outdoor trapeze stage. One of the guys doing it is in his 60s and it's ridiculous. Mat Ricardo - Juggler/variety performer https://www.matricardo.com/ Silvia Pavone - circus hoop dancer - https://silviapavone.com/ Splash Test Dummies - comedy circus group - https://www.dummiescorp.com/splash-test-dummies Feeding The Fish - Pixel-poi light show, I was today year's old when I noticed the fish/poi pun - https://www.facebook.com/feedingthefishpixelpoi/ Slamboree - circus/cabaret/music - https://www.slamboree.co.uk/ Do What Ya Mama Told Ya! - plate spinning, food juggling and fire blazing - https://withoutwalls.uk.com/programme/do-what-ya-mamma-told-ya/ Dan The Hat - Juggler - https://www.danthehat.co.uk/biography Laura London - magician - https://www.lauralondonmagic.co.uk/ Walkabouts The Magnificent Kevens - live busking band - https://themagnificentkevens.com/ Blockbuster Factory - street show where they recruit people to make a Blockbuster film - https://continentaldrifts.co.uk/performer/blockbuster-factory/ Akira - hard to Google but think it's a street performer who does DJing and painting - https://coventgardenentertainment.co.uk/performers/akira-street-performer/ The Visionary - magic / fortune telling / comedy - https://www.thejonhicks.com/the-visionary Victoria Gugenheim - bodypainter - https://www.gugenheim.co.uk/ Wayne and Wanda - lipsync - https://www.wayneandwanda.co.uk/ Nutkhut - Indian dance - https://www.nutkhut.co.uk/projects-page/dance-and-performance/ Giant Seagulls - need no introduction - https://www.facebook.com/TheGiantSeagulls/ Poetry and Words Mama Tokus - poet/singer - https://www.mamatokus.com/ Joelle Taylor - poet - http://joelletaylor.co.uk/ Kate Fox - spoken word performer - https://katefoxwriter.wordpress.com/ Theatre (Astrolabe) Hot Brown Honey - aboriginal musical comedy/activism, looks pretty fun actually - https://www.hotbrownhoney.com/ Travis Alabanza - queer writer/poet/performer - https://travisalabanza.co.uk/work/ WTF La Familia Rosso - Google can't find anything. Can you imagine having your name on a Glastonbury line-up and literally no web presence? Joe Wicks - "It's official! I'm going to hosting a big family workout at @Glastonbury 🎪😀 I've never been before and I can't wait." Rogue Otherworld - an immersive theatre group. It's possible they just be dressed up as animals doing a walkabout, but it's also possible they might be making use of Rimski's Yard or somewhere else to do a proper show? - https://rogueotherworld.co.uk/wild-awake-2/ 2 1
