BBC Introducing Stage Reveals Its Glastonbury 2024 Lineup

The BBC's much-lauded Introducing stage has revealed its lineup for this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The stage will be showcasing some of the hottest new talent around. Some notable acts include Kingfishr, and up-and-coming Irish folk Trio; Maruja, an alternative band from Manchester with a very distinct style; and Paris Paloma, a singer-songwriter hailing from Derbyshire. Overall, an eclectic offering of brand new music willing to tickle the musial taste-buds of even the most bleeding-edge musical connoisseur.

The full day splits are yet to be revealed, however, we do know that Thursday 27th of June will consist of BBC Radio 1's Dance Takeover, Celebrating Annie - Annie Nightingale who was the BBC's prolific champion of new music who passed away earlier this year. Thursday will kick off earlier than ever before, at 1pm, thanks to the new Open Deck feature which is essentailly an 'open mic' but for DJs, inviting any in attendance to play an impromptu set.

Friday the 28th of June will play host to Radio 6 Music's 'Indie Forever' feature, hosted by Nathan Shepherd and Emily Pilbeam. Saturday the 29th will kick things off with 1 Extra's Pre-party Takeover with DJ Target. And Sunday the 29th will round off with Radio 2's 'Alternative Sounds Of The 90s' with Dermot O'Leary.

These acts will be joining Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA who will be headlining the festival's main Pyramid Stage as announced on Thursday the 14th of March 2024.
