When Will Glastonbury 2025 Take Place?

Glastonbury Festival usually takes place during the last weekend of June. 2025 Glastobury dates have been confirmed as the 25-29th June 2025.

2025 will be the last Glastonbury Festival until at least 2027 as there will be a fallow year (a break) in 2026.

Who Is Headlining Glastonbury 2025?

Rod Stewart has been confirmed as the Legend slot act, making him the first artist to be revealed for the 2025 festival. Nile Rodgers And Chic have self confimed at the Rolling Stone Awards on the 28th of November, revealing that they're taking the stage straight after Sir Rod on Sunday the 29th of June.

We've heard some rumours on the grapevine inlcuding an act that didn't quite make it last year, a legendary female act, plus Sam Fender (though looking less likely now) and Olivia Rodrigo seem like possible contenders for the Pyramid stage. There's speculation that Duran Duran and Chappell Roan may also perform. The 1975 are now also rumoured for the Pyramid, and Shed Seven for the Avalon stage! Please refer to our lineup page for the latest details.

When Do Glastonbury 2025 Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets for the 2025 festival have sold out but there will be an April resale in 2025, so not all hope is lost if you did not manage to secure a ticket.

In the main sale, general admission coach tickets went on sale at 6pm GMT on the 14th of November. Regular general admission tickets went on sale on the 17th of November at 9am.

How To Buy Glastonbury Festival Tickets for 2025?

Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have sold out, but a ticket resale is coming in April 2025 so you have another chance.

Full weekend tickets cost £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee - £378.50 in total. That's £18 more than in 2024 where they sold for £355 plus fee. You'll initially be charged £75 of the ticket cost, with the remaining balance being paid in April 2025.

If you'd like a ticket, you'll need to pre-register. This is an anti-touting measure. If you've registered for the 2024 festival, your registration should remain valid for 2025, however, please make sure to double check this closer to the event.

The festival/SeeTickets has implemented a queue system for 2025 which means that as soon as you enter, you'll be in a queue with others hoping to buy a ticket. Fans have generally seen this system as more fair but more frustrating due to long wait times spent in the queue. This is expected to be implemented for the April 2025 resale too.

Tickets usually sell out in minutes so we have everythign crossed for you. It's definitely possible so please just give it a go! For the best chance to grab some Glastonbury tickets, follow our community's Tips & Tricks.

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 will only be sold via SeeTickets.

Festival Ethos

The Festival wants people to think about their journey to the Festival, to use public transport, or if coming by car to share transport with others. The Festival is committed to minimising the amount of waste, and managing the on site collection of that waste efficiently, 'reduce, reuse and recycle'.

Glastonbury Festival believes that work begins at home, at Worthy Farm. Looking after the fields, the hedges and the livestock has always been the Festival's number one concern, and it is what life is all about. Please take everything you bring and your litter home with you and 'leave no trace'.

Festivals goers should think responsibly when they are packing their things to take to the Festival, and not bring items that will end up in landfill, or that they won't want to take back home again, remember to "Limit what you bring, and clean up behind you."

Good causes

The festival donates much of its profits to good causes including Oxfam, Greenpeace, WaterAid and hundreds of other worthy causes, both local and international.
