The morning after the night before and I still can’t believe they’ve actually gone and managed to get Elton John to headline as his last ever UK show. Surely the greatest Glastonbury booking ever. Sensational stuff.

Elton closing the festival on his last UK show is a phenomenal booking. Fair play to them for getting that, will be a very busy field that night. As much as an Arctic Monkeys, Guns N Roses, Elton John does clearly lack something, it’s hard to argue they’re not three massive acts.

So many opportunities to book him over the years were passed up that you wonder if the dream all along was to have him play his last ever UK show on the farm. Magnificent however it came to pass though.
