if anyone has a rec for an inflatable sleeping mat that is comfy, i usually go airbed but its bulky and never that comfy (after all - we're camping in a field!) - today im trying to tick the 'sleeping sitch' box on my to-do 🙂

Panicked about the hot sunny days predicted and decided to buy a UV protection/waterproof bucket hat to cover my face and neck more than my baseball cap.

Also got some carabiners and new pair of UV sunglasses, so at least if it is glaringly sunny, I'll still be able to see what's going on.

Added some linen trousers too in case it's really hot and I don't fancy shorts.

Ive shared this before, tried the thinner one last year and it was super, so going for extra comfort this year.

Loads warmer than an airbed. have tested on my kitchen floor and its a do-er

Me and Mrs C sat down with the line up and clashfinder and had a delicate intense but ultimately productive discussion about who to see. Compromises had to be made, eg she wants to see Tom Grennan on Saturday so I relented as long as we see the Hu on Sunday.  Can’t beat a bit of Mongolian throat singing.
of course like all well made plans they wont be adhered to!

Got my hair done and tried out my new raincoat on the way home - 22 degrees, 50% humidity and rainy is not good, ick. Wearing my walking boots about the house in case it doesn’t end up being trainer weather.

A little tip, change your sheets the day you go. It feels amazing to get back to clean sheets!

Yes! really makes you appreciate the luxury of your own bed.

I bought snacky bits today and plant misters cos I don't cope well with heat. Everything that's not clothes is in a heap in the living room. It's getting added to as random things cross my mind.
