They left to go on smoko, so leave them alone.

quite literally did i think. was a 150 cap venue in hackney and they were outside after chatting to everything (probably smoking too, but we headed off to the pub after and saw Jamie T)

Have a feeling it's going to be a clashtastic year with all the quality acts touring...

Will say though, I've created utter clash chaos on that Saturday, oops

Don’t think I’ve ever had a 5-way headliner clash, but this would do it.

As it stands, with current tour dates and rumours, my dream trio would be……

Fri - Fred WH
Sat - YYY Park
Sun - Elton Pyramid

Not really took a close look at who's around this summer but if Beach House and Slowdive continue touring in 2023 I'd be very happy with seeing them on Park. PJ Harvey, SAULT, Pulp and Bjork are big on my wishlist.

I have a feeling I'll go to either one of AM or Elton with my partner who's hoping to volunteer again, but would happily miss them to go elsewhere.

You’re evil for these clashes 😅

I would probably end up at:

SAULT > Bloc Party > Pavement

Death Grips > Kelis > Hot Chip

Sunday is impossible, Pulp would be the only definite. Might just stay at the Pyramid all day

SAULT > Bloc Party > Pavement

It's a shame Pavement have just been ruled out after that Blue Dot announcement but that would be such a lovely evening run. And think it would be amazing if Sault decided to do some live shows, they've got such a great extensive catalogue now.

I'd have been on Sault > The Smile > AM/Pavement for the Friday.

What's the thinking with this? Are they exclusive to BD or just dates too far apart for them to stick around in the UK for a whole month?

"Only UK show of 2023" so yeah I think that rules them out unfortunately 😢

Ah ffs did not see that bit. I had tickets to see them in Denmark last year but had to give them up because it was too much of a pain to get there, was really hoping they'd do Glasto.

Don't like the Saturday clashes at all... Sunday would be fantastic.

Pusha T > Young Fathers > Pulp > Elton, with some overlap of course

Don't think I have done one of these for Glasto before, so don't go in too hard - based it from some predictions in here, a few rumours floating in other threads and own personal taste. Not sure though if this is too strong, too heavy on certain genres, or placings completely off, but hey ho! Also no idea on the 'Legend' act, so just went with the safe option of Spice Girls.

Friday:

PY: Arctic Monkeys // Sam Smith / Royal Blood / RAYE / Wet Leg / Cat Burns

OS: Wizkid // Halsey / Mabel / Denzel Curry / Maggie Rogers / Suede (Special guest opener)

WH: Loyle Carner // Jungle / Maisie Peters / Shame

JP: Hot Chip // The Wombats / Alvvays / Everything Everything

PA: PJ Harvey // boygenius / Marcus Mumford / Muna

ARCADIA: Fred Again.. b2b Skrillex b2b Four Tet // The Blessed Madonna / Skin on Skin

Saturday:

PY: Guns N’ Roses // Lizzo / Lewis Capaldi / Bastille / Paloma Faith / The Specials

OS: Fred Again.. // Courteeners / Becky Hill / DMA’s / Holly Humberstone / FLO

WH: M83 // Kali Uchis / Confidence Man / Goldfrapp

JP: slowthai // King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard / Caroline Polachek / WILLOW

PA: London Grammar // Clairo / Angel Olsen / Snail Mail

ARCADIA: The Chemical Brothers (DJ Set) // Amelie Lens / Honey Dijon

Sunday:

PY: Elton John // Pulp / Lil Nas X / Spice Girls / Anne-Marie / Candi Staton

OS: The Prodigy // Rosalía / Central Cee / Alabama Shakes / Carly Rae Jepson / Kofi Stone

WH: Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals // Kelis / Mahalia / Blood Orange

JP: Bloc Party // Rina Sawayama / Pinkpantheress / Soccer Mommy

PA: Yeah Yeah Yeahs // Father John Mistry / Emeli Sande / Black Midi

ARCADIA: Bou b2b Hedex // Vibe Chemistry b2b goddard / Serum

Others across the weekend: Beans on Toast, Biig Piig, Black Country, New Road, Fatboy Slim, Jockstrap, JPEGMAFIA, Knucks, Nova Twins, Pusha T, Sault, Shygirl

Close but you are way off

Terry Hall the singer for the specials has died

King gizzard has said they are not playing this year

PJ Harvey has no dates so sadly she is unlikely

You forgot queens of the stoneage!

Really fucking upsets me the thought of Prodigy x Elton clashing. I don’t know a single Elton track off by heart, but I know it’s a monumental show to miss.

But The Prodigy man, god tier live. I have to see them.
I vividly remember watching their set on TV in 2009, got me into going festivals.

Not certain but they’re doing Euro festivals around the time and have Glasto weekend free so would make sense they were rebooked from 2020, either back as OS headliners or even subbing AM (I’m going with the latter).

They were due to play last year and dropped out. This year they are playing lots of European festivals and currently have a Glastonbury shaped hole in their schedule. Not certain but pretty likely

I think they will be subbing AM or GNR's. If it is GNR then Lizzo will headline the other and Fred again can play park or at a push WH's

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
