Not much of this is definite, just best guesses.  I've been asking the same thing re Christine, his website says Sunday and poster says Saturday.  Something else I thought of though, CATQ closed out the festival in 2019, maybe fancies a Saturday night this time so he can get down the SE corner and enjoy some of the festival?

OK thanks. V much hoping he’s playing on the Sat night as that would def be my headline choice for the Sat sorted. Saw their set in 2019 closing The Other on Sunday and it was just brilliant. Not sure I can miss Elton though. Would def be worst clash for me, but will wait & see.

Pretty sure Mel C is playing Avalon, not the pyramid.

I know and usually they like to get an act from the Avalon lineup to open another one of the main stages, though it is usually the West Holts or other stage.

2015 - K.O.G and the Zongo Brigade (WH)

2016 - Newton Faulkner (Other)

2017 - Hot 8 Brass Band (WH)

2019 - The Cat Empire (Other)

Is your placing of Pulp based on anything, out of interest? (hope you're right)

Nah Alison Goldfrapp said in an interview that she was playing pre-Thundercat on the Sunday, so the poster isn’t in any kind of order after the headliners.

Lol, was really happy to finally have a Friday headliner, but instead, the Elton vs Qotsa clash got even worse

Do large acts ever get booked for multiple festivals in a row?? e.g Wet Leg played the park last year so is it unlikely they would reappear so soon?

Yup. It does happen. I think Sigrid has played the last 3 in a row for instance.  Billie Eilish played two consecutive years.

But Wet Leg are unlikely to crop up now, except as a special guest. And as special guests they wouldn't be that special, frankly.

Interesting... suppose they're probably a safe bet for a Pyramid/Other slot in 2024/25 if not

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
    • Yeah Roy's Tune was lovely. Looking forward to the whole thing hopefully going on iPlayer.   It's scattered dates they have this year really, proper tour/s to come next year - suspect a new single will drop in the next couple of months, providing the album is done.
