Obviously the poster was on the wind up but maybe it’s not out of the realms of possibility? I’d be all over it if so , their best album IMO.

Got lucky 2 years running after being unsuccessful for 9 years ! our lead booker has had his confirmation email but the rest of us haven’t ! Is that the norm this year ? Wanna see it in black and white !

I haven’t checked this thread too much recently. Are Depeche Mode in the conversation or anything ruling them out ?
-
Haven’t checked this thread for a while but are Depeche Mode still in the conversation? that’s my one wish for realistic options .
-
Totally agree , I also done these 3 in a row and topped it off with QOTSA and it is one of the best runs of bands in a row I have ever done at a festival . all 4 were glorious.

You know the one that makes you feel so good you just want it to go on forever . Red Eyes from War on Drugs for me , really lifted me when I was flagging a bit. Smallish crowd but everyone seemed to have big smiles and a warm glow when they played that , and for the whole set really . Honourable mention for Golden Hair from Slowdive as well , goosebumps moment . what were yours ?
-
Tough to narrow it down to 3 but I’ll go for - War on Drugs Slowdive Editors All watched in succession as well , a great Sunday topped off with QOTSA as well
-
I’m the same , huge missed opportunity if it doesn’t happen !
-
Peter Hook & the light next . Don’t know why he’s never been booked for Glasto . Would be awesome and go down a storm I reckon !
-
Definitely War on Drugs followed by QOTSA , I’m one of those strange folks who has zero interest in seeing Elton !
-
Woodsies for me , can see me spending a decent amount of time in there.
-
Thanks for the heads up , currently enjoying the Mode . They need to be headlining next year !
-
This is also my current thinking , subject to change of course .
-
Was hoping for a reply like this , thanks for putting my mind at rest!

Got my ticket despatched email yesterday so happy days . thought I’d check status of campervan ticket as it originally said it would be despatched with the main ticket . It said “ these items are not despatched by see “ Anyone who has also ordered a campervan ticket had the same ?
-
Hoping you are right with Suede opening other stage , that would be a great start !
-
I remember hearing something about that . Did it get resolved do you know ?
-
Thanks , thought it didn’t really sound right . I don’t want my experience of Slowdive to be soured by hearing other stages . A tent is perfect for them !
-
Seen the odd comment on various fb pages that Woodsies stage is now outside rather than in a tent ! That can’t be right can it ? Surely sound bleed issues as reasonably close to Silver Hayes etc .
-
Plenty I want to see from this announcement. Another shout for Slowdive , that was a lovely surprise and Sunday teatime is a good slot for their dreamy sounds when the energy is fading a bit ! A good 6 or 7 others I may see as well , clashes permitting. Editors & Working mens club hope to see as long as the clash gods are kind !

I don’t post too much either but look on these pages regularly and it’s a great source of shared info and for building the Glasto hype ! Thanks for all you’ve done Neil in building this site up and enjoy your retirement!

Saw a comment on a Facebook page that “ Jim will be dropping the line up for his stage at noon tomorrow “ isn’t the guy who runs JP / Woodsies named Jim ? don’t know if it’s legit but thought I’d share !
-
Manics to headline Woodsies maybe ? or do we think we already have our headliners sorted there ?
