I recall Folamour being absolutely rammed! (as expected to be fair) , and leaving after took a while -around 4am maybe? I remember a lot of our group were at Four Tet beforehand and had to leave because it was way to intense! (more because of the music than the crowd)😂
First time last year and I thought Shangri-La on the Friday was ridiculously busy , bordering on unsafe - i wont be returning lol- block9 / common was so much more enjoyable. assume it's because it becomes a massive bottleneck towards that end.
Might be a stupid question but do they completely close off entry to the SEC at some point in the night , once it gets stupidly busy. Would i need to get there before a certain time in order to guarantee i can get in?
No - they have one (to be fair, massive) song which has stood the test of the time. I don't think many people under of the 30 could even name more than 1 Pulp song. I think anything more than Pyramid sub would be unlikely
Agreed! doesn't suprise me it's a former office! All Day Chaos in the CBD last year there was brilliant , as was HAAi's all nighter. Speaking of those two, i'd absolutely love them back on the farm this year. Think HAAi is a safe bet - seems to be staple in recent memory? Though not sure i've seen Chaos on the line up for a while!
Anyone else been to The Cause in East London?? Been to a few events there and think it pulls in some great names, but the whole venue is just a bit strange. Felt like i was walking through a school corridor in some parts
If we're talking realistic names, I'll go with Justice, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg, Vampire Weekend, Chase and Status, Chemical Brothers, Khruangbin, Overmono, Pendulum, Soft Play
As a relatively new forum-goer, how often are the headliners guessed correctly on here? do people tend to have a good idea of who they are before the official announcement? have any years been a completely unexpected trio?
What are the chances of them being there next year on one of the big stages? seen that they're doing the rounds massively this year with their live sets. Would be amazing!
