Saw them last year at fabric and printworks, its terrific - played some great suspected new songs. Hopefully its 2hr+

Bicep will be doing their live show probably rather than a DJ set (could do both but they did a DJ set in 2019 i think)

I’m sure there are normally many more self-confirmed acts at this stage in the proceedings?

Usually a few more, but on the flip side we have the poster and it seems that most acts, like us punters, have been rolled over to this year. Lots of tour dates with GSH. (I've been getting the playlist up to date so am on top of this at the moment.)

Coming off lurking briefly to thank you for the playlist 👍

Great news.

Interested to see where they place. Daytime JP or Park most likely but wouldn’t be shocked to see multiple sets - maybe WG or a late nighter in the Rabbit Hole.

They'll almost certainly do double duty in the Crows Nest

They were due to be on the Park last time and fit there perfectly so does seem like the obvious shout.

One of the late nights in the Rabbit Hole - like Let's Eat Grandma last time - would be great!

Wet Leg self-confirmed tonight before the gig at Yes.

They told the guy next to me not to tell anyone else but they didn’t tell me. Keep it to yourselves.

There is no way they weren't going to play. High JP or low Other?

They’ll have multiple sets over the weekend I reckon.

Can see them being one of the Williams Green bands Thursday, a JP band and wouldn’t be surprised if they play the Park in a similar slot to the one Wolf Alice/Hinds etc. did

no, still having problems.

In the absence could we have a locked post with a list on? Or a spreadsheet or something? I would say someone else could do it if the overhead was too much but you were an excellent filter of all the ramblings into appropriate categories:-)

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
