Interesting one with Kendrick. He’s down to play European festivals this year, and I do think some festivals will happen this year. If he does play Europe this year, is he likely to do so again in 2022?

Which in Europe are likely though?

I think Taylor may well be on a handshake agreement for 2022 already. Kendrick I reckon may well end up doing some European festivals this summer where they can go ahead so he might not be back. No idea on Macca.

I’ll take a punt on finally having two female headliners, and Arctics finally resurfacing:

Florence

Taylor

Arctic Monkeys

This would be perfect. I think for next year Taylor will be almost a lock while Kenny would be out...

I’m really not sure. I reckon 2020s headliners will be the priority and if all three can safely tour then why not?

I disagree with many points above, if Glasto isn’t going ahead then Kenny ain’t playing anywhere in Europe either.

Of all 3 headliners it’s Macca who is least likely.

Taylor and Kenny are nailed on to do it at some point.

Unfortunately Macca doesn’t have time on his side.

Kendrick has already been announced for several festivals in Europe. If GF cancels it’s not as if he’s going to cancel those shows if they’re going ahead.

    • The Radio Dept.?! That's a surprise to me, they haven't toured in like 8 years. Hopefully they will announce some more shows.
    • I was assuming September in Stirling might have a different issue tbf in the form of it just pissing it down.
    • Yeah so many of mine seem to be just France v Spain in one semi and England/Brazil v Argentina in the other. But the fact those combos are the obvious ones mean it feels unlikely that'll happen because in World Cup history, you very rarely end up with what pre-tournament looks like the obvious final 4. We all see teams outperform and underperform. Which one is the fall guy is a different matter.   I've said elsewhere that for me, there's a hierarchy of Spain, France and Argentina as the 3 strongest looking, then England and Portugal, then Brazil and Germany, but that overall, they'd be the 7 likeliest to win. So I dunno, maybe this will be the time the Netherlands avenge the failure of total football in 1974 and achieve what they couldn't achieve through whatever the f**k Nigel de Jong was with his 2010 final karate moves.
    • Oh I think Infantino should resign. His handling of the whole WC process has been an utter shitshow. But you know. That would require him having integrity or something.
    • Good Charlotte would be fine third down or subbing. If they can get a bigger sub and still get GC, they’ll play third down.
