I would imagine that we have some supply in the pipeline to last a few days/ a week ..... especially with Christmas volumes in the pipeline already ....

even when thats imposed .... people just do it in groups with different transactions ...... the next thing we will get is a headline urging people not to panic buy as there is plenty to go round .... which will of course cause panic buying ..... im concerned about my insulin now ... which is imported 😞

It’s so irresponsible to say we should start panic buying now. There is plenty to go around and anyone that suggests otherwise is trying to wind people up.

Howdy, not necessarily. In fact, if the virus was better at binding to the ACE2 receptor, then it wouldn't need such a big inoculum to be able to establish an infection in the next person. Honestly, anything at this stage is conjecture though, we really don't know yet (I'm sure more concrete data will emerge over the next few weeks). Transmission dynamics are far too noisy to be able to say with any certainty that it's a property of the virus rather than the hosts.

It is fuckin ridiculous the state we are in and where we are heading, and we have this eton c**t in charge who can't be arsed with actually thinking beyond his lies. It isn't working, he needs to go and take his shit cabinet with him and we need to get some actual responsible adults in charge.

trying to think logically if it were to be a 48hour delay ..... then lots of supermarkets being closed xmas day / boxing day it might not have such an impact ...... im not quite sure the lead times .... probably a lot of imported soft fruit with shorter date life would be hit initially ...
