Just moved to a new town so unfortunately don’t know anyone who lives nearby! Going to have to resort to phone... could be an interesting morning! ?

At a push a usb PC mouse will work (my mac-mini has a wireless logitech mouse plugged in the back.

What about Amazon prime?

Good shout on the usb mouse. Our PC one struggles to scroll up and down so just stole a spare one out of the desk next to mine. I'm on nightshift until 0630.

Gonna be a struggle tomorrow. Usually go to bed at 0700 ish and get up at 11-12. Tomorrow I need to get tickets, do a 15 mile run, bit of sleep and get back to work for 1800.....it'll be a tough nightshift tomorrow; especially if I don't get lucky.

Fuck the annoying earworm this thread title has given me.

I don't care how appropriate it is.

I think it's about time I went to bed. Two alarms already set

I still have half a bottle of wine left though.

I’m getting nervous.

First time trying to get tickets since 2009, when it was a damn sight easier! Fingers crossed that the kids leave me in peace for half an hour as I bash f5.

Best of luck to everyone trying tomorrow morning.

The flip side of having to travel 10,000 miles to get to the farm is that ticket time is 7pm here, so I’m currently resting my head after a night out last night but it’s ok.

Ticket day is also the day clocks change here which I usually forget until the last minute!

Cant beat kalifire, but I've just moved back to Bermuda and will be trying at 5am local time. 3500 miles back to the farm, give or take. A lot further than coming down from Shropshire.

Good luck to everyone. May the F5 gods be with you.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
