I'm rarely ready for action first thing on the Friday anyway as Thursday night is always a bit too epic for us. Managed James in 2016 but not enough bangers for me personally.

Embrace would tick my boxes though, have they been mentioned?

managed to make Hacienda classical opening the pyramid, this was a massive first, although i think I may have had a disco nap half way through

I was bitterly disappointed when Texas pulled out, especially as I’d been boring my mates all weekend about how good they’d be.

Let's have Noel Gallagher opening the Pyramid, then Garbage opening the Pyramid with Texas and The Coral in 2nd and 3rd. Don't clash Noel and Texas...one as it would be awful and to make a return appearance after dropping out I don't think they would get the crowd.

If Hacienda can open Pyramid though and Bootleg Beatles can the next day then Noel doing is easy to do, it's a larger field and he can enjoy the rest.

It was, and I was in there after fighting through a ring of chairs outside when it was announced. Poor fella that came on had droves of people leaving. I felt bad for him so stayed I think for 2 songs to be polite

On the back of this post and just seeing that they're playing Cruilla Festival in Spain the week after, could Garbage open the Other Stage on Friday? I know nothing about them other than that I've read about them for years on here.

Sod it, I'm saying Richard Ashcroft. General mould of Other openers seems to be people who've previously headlined or been close to, but are still big enough to headline smaller festivals. Loads of people fit that mould, like...
