Nothing but Thieves was over £50 for their Wembley shows in November for a reference, which did catch me a little by surprise. But in retrospect probably shouldn't have. My Underworld ticket for Manchester tomorrow was £43.50 including fees and they're playing two sets across 2 1/2 hours. At today's rate that's an absolute bargain.
Fleetwood_Mac_And_Cheese
Charli XCX was £60 for standing at the O2 which I was slightly surprised by though more justifiable with Shygirl being the support

If only as The Killers topping £100 and Kings of Leon topping £85 made me think that was closer to market rate now.
Padjeq
Rain City Drive were formerly known as Slaves (and informally known as Slaves (US)). But they sacked off troubled and troubling singer Jonny Craig and renamed. Good album. Saw them perform it in full at Slam Dunk a while ago. Can't have been a 10 year celebration?? Can I not find it gross, but still like the band; of which there are multiple other members?
chickenfire
I'm not sure I'm ready for the Arcade Fire discourse again already 😅 Pre-allegations, this would've been an all-time gig announcement and would've been tempted to travel down for it. Great venue and one of my favourite albums of all time. Now, it's just weird. The fact they still have replies/comments off on all their socials says enough.

Very jealous of the Manny fans getting a longer set list Intrigued by “an evening with” 🤔 is that like a Q&A session or just a fancy way of saying extended set? Unless I’m being dumb and it’s the name of the support band.

Cavernous (really high ceiling) but still managing to feel intimate (think it's a 5000 cap.). Two smallish bars on either side towards the back. One minor issue is I think the only toilets are back downstairs, which could be a pain. Might need someone to validate that. Really friendly staff. Can't give you a definitive rating on the sound because I was right on the barrier but I've seen from others it was decent. Getting out took a little while, only two smallish exits were open post-gig. Convenient location not far from Deansgate/Spinningfields areas, loads of bars, etc. I got there early so getting in was simple but I did also hear the queue to get in was long a little later on. All-in-all though, I liked it

I would have thought eight months would be ample time for a band the size of Vampire Weekend to find a support act.
