Porridge Radio supporting YYYs might push me over the edge of nabbing a ticket...

Their choice of support bands is great. The fact they have English Teacher is just so amazing for a band who have barely released anything.

I know a few of us won tickets to the Pet Shop Boys at the Electric Ballroom. The company involved are telling people the date is locked in for the summer but they're not allowed to say when it is until the Pet Shop Boys have announced their festival schedule. At this point in time surely that's just Glastonbury? Anyway, I've looked at their gigs and their free dates and I'm hoping it takes place mid July.

Well that was a pretty shit thing for the pet shop boys to do.  Electric Ballroom, June 24th

God damn it… Wasn’t concerned about the Kendrick/PSB clash as I had tickets for that gig…

Yep, had crossed PSB off my list, as didn't need to see them on the Other, as Electric Ballroom would do nicely.  I know all our cash went to an essential cause, and therefore I'm not as upset as I would be, but it does show a strange lack of foresight be the band and MVT, they surely have an inkling a load of people passionate about music and saving live venues might well be at the best festival in the world that day

To be fair they were probably given that date by the band.

Then we must burn effigies of NT and CL before their other gig performance, covered in mud and excrement and chanting that they are boring.... or not, as the case might be.

I might go for a lie down now

Wasn’t there a bit of ‘beef’ between MVT and Glastonbury when the festival did the live from Worthy Farm thing on the day music venues reopened?

Kinda funny/annoying that the gig went from 'First Proper Gig Back' to 'In The Middle of the First Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts in 3 Years'

I can make it. It's now day 1 of my 11 day stretch that starts with glastonbury on tele, then takes in Foo Fighters and then a trip to belgium for Rock Werchter.

Who the hell organises a UK tour during a World Cup.

Not Florence, anyway. The tour is finished by the time the WC starts.

Edit: no it's not, I read the dates wrong.

Fuck putting the World Cup in fucking December anyway.

Wow, surprised at not only the size of this tour but also an O2 gig in there too. I can't imagine them selling it out with so many other big shows.

This is what happens when you starve people of live music for the best part of two years... The Kaiser sodding Chiefs play the O2!

theyve played the o2 every recent tour (2020, 2017 and 2015)
