I know a lot has been made about the Live Nation in Vegas thing being loaded of pop-punk nostalgia but this is so close to being a proper nostalgic thing for 2000's indie. Needs Strokes and Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the least.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs headlined the previous edition.

Maybe if you saw all of these one day genre ones your head would spin. Keep in mind at Once Upon A Time in LA, Drakeo the Ruler got murdered. Also the original When We Were Young was a Moz fest.

Interesting. Fair enough.

Tbf if I lived in LA I'd be up for the 2022 edition more than this one. I also did not know Peter Bjorn and John were still going.

I like the notepad aesthetic to the last poster. But maybe this is just more of a thing in America, given in the UK and Europe things seem a bit more genre-fluid where acts from different areas of music are all on the same bill.

Would make my Glasto if Mick was there, but these dates will do...

Would love to see him. Shame the Liverpool and London dates aren't the other way round... at Elvis Costello (and Ian Prowse) at the Phil on the 10th.

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
