Nice.

Yeah I got a few no problem. Looking forward to it!

Where are you going?

I got Liverpool for definite, and I'm on the fence with Manchester. I bought a ticket but don't know if my old age can handle two work nights in a row! 😂

Hopefully it's not too bad and damage is minimal but if it is, maybe some of the other Bristol venues can assist? I'd imagine they're pretty stacked though

The Fleece have accommodated The Lovely Eggs who were supposed to be on 31st July. I hope the other bands get lucky too.

The full line up for the Home Sessions thing Terry Hall has organized for the City of Culture stuff in Coventry got announced the other day. Just got tickets for Fat Whites and Tim Burgess at the Cathedral Ruins myself but there's loads of decent acts in there, John Grant, Libertines, Pete Doherty, Jane Weaver, Neville Staple etc

Final lineup revealed for Terry Hall's four-day festival 'Home Sessions' - CoventryLive (coventrytelegraph.net)

Also heading that and very much looking forward to it; don't forget your lottery ticket/scratch card 😉

Going to be very interesting to see what the mask wearing uptake is like, especially once Frank comes on...

Full UK and Ireland dates here I think. Bit disappointed with the Scottish venue, not a fan of the Corn Exchange at all but everyone seems to be announcing gigs there at the moment.

Ticket prices up here, real mix across the venues.

Live near to here and it's supposed to have been bought over by O2 which explains the sudden influx of gigs after years of next to nothing.  Nice to see Edinburgh getting more academy sized gigs!

Ah I didn’t know that, interesting! It’s probably about time to be fair, given the amount of gigs/venues we have at that size in Glasgow. Edinburgh has pretty much just had the Usher Hall with the odd gig here and there at the Corn Exchange for a while now.

Interesting mix of venues - just an Academy in Brum yet the big one in London.

No NW gig is major disappointment 🙁. Hopefully around for some festivals.

Not sure if this is the right place to put this so apologies if not; I've got two tickets to see White Lies tonight at Camden Powerhaus that I can no longer use due to having to self isolate as my 2 year old has a temperature. Does anyone have any interest? Face value was £80 for the pair, tickets are PDF so I could email them over should anyone want them,

    • Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.
    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
    • One problem could be that many of the hospitality packages are already sold out. Unless you’ve a media contact, media organisations normally get a hospitality allocation.
