Don’t know if it got mentioned but BTS are playing Wembley Stadium along with six or so other 80,000 ish venues around the world.

Weird but interesting. Possibly puts that rumoured Madonna date at Wembley in doubt?

I'm gutted. Idk who I'm even looking forward to that's rumored this year now that Robyn is most likely out. I need a lineup. 

I wish her dates lined up for me but the closest she comes is still an hour flight in the dead of Canadian winter.

No Estrons, then

 

Estrons is over. This band was never supposed to last this long, but we're glad it did.  Estrons kind of means 'strangers' in the Welsh language, we met as strangers, became friends, became less, became more, then less.. now we leave as strangers again. We wrote some great songs together, crashed into towns and cities all over the world for some unforgettable gigs, and met some incredible people in every one of them.  Estrons has been our lives for the past 5 years, its been tough but amazing, and we wouldn't trade it for anything.. Creative and personal differences made us what we were, it only makes sense that they now make us what we are - Strangers.  We're sorry to cancel all upcoming tours, all tickets will be refundable. We will all be back soon with new projects that we're excited about.  To every-one of you who ever bought or played our music, came to our shows or supported us in any way, Diolch/Thank-you so much. To anyone reading this, we hope we brought you a fraction of the happiness that your support gave us.  Diolch o galon  Thank-you  Estrons.

Went off them after the frontwoman took the mic out of me for dropping a few rennies (no euphemism) at one of their gigs. Decent enough band through, best of luck to the lot of them.

The Proclaimers are touring this summer  and  in JUNE 2019 they're doing:

Sat 15  Melrose   then Thurs 20 OVER OLSO  and in July Sat 6 INVERNESS

Its 500 miles from Glastonbury to Inverness  but i'm sure they'd walk that far ...

I've loved that band, I really have.  And their little place in the pantheon is secured, but they've been trading on past victories for an awfully long time now.  I mean, fair fucks to 'em, but you can just imagine what a bucket-hatted, paunched-out sadfest those shows will be!
