You've not gone mad, but he wasn't there on the first release.  They tweak these posters a fair bit.

Mind scrambled with the usual line up release excitement! I knew I'd seen it but hadn't realised it was only today and not when the poster first came out.

Cheers for clearing it up!

The really big secret will be Annie Mac will announce she is Michael Eavis's love child

this is the only way she could have got the John Peel gig

Surely someone has dropped out for her to get that. Yeah shes popular, but shes a radio DJ.

Noel is there introducing an Oasis movie

could it possible be, could the dream be real......

could they be fighting to the death Gladiator style in a bear pit

UV paint fight in the temple, Liam vs Noel battle royale ft Albarn on the bongos.

Just noticed something interesting on Clashfinder.  When you hover of the Annie Mac entry you get this cryptic message about her description.....

"Special Purpose Artist - Do not add releases here, if possible."

That doesn't sound the biog of a DJ.  I suspect she's only there to introduce someone special.  Thoughts?

And if you hover over "Special guests" at the Truth stage, you'll see this:

"German Heavy/Power Metal band"

I'd piss my pants if it turned out to be Rammstein.

Pity it doesn't say German Techno - I'd kill for some Kraftwerk.

It says the same for all 3 "special guest" spots. Also setlist.fm tells me there's a German band called "Special guest", so I guess the clashfinder automatically adding the description (thinking it's the german band).

I believe clashfinder is editable by the general public, and so the artist description doesn't really mean anything surely?

When you hover over her on the line up it says "The Radio 1 tastemaker turns the Peel stage into a giant electronic dancefloor filled with gyrating party goers. How does she do that?"

Just what I was thinking. Let's not start using Clashfinder as any sort of evidence of what's gonna happen (apart from what's on there because it's been confirmed by the festival now)

This thread is the efests equiv of Zion from the Matrix. Has been destroyed and recreated 9 times because the Machines want to give the illusion of a decent lineup.

Are you saying that the line up mostly comprises synthetic images of projected light, designed to fool the viewer......?

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
