What? Where? Where the Glade is? Or where the recharge tent / camping field is?

A Bristol-based soundsystem and rave event organiser has announced it will be hosting a new area at Glastonbury Festivalthis year.

Cloud9 Productions took to Facebook to announce to its fans that it will be "turning what was previously the Saxon market, into an entirely new area with fully interactive and immersive decor, two new venues will become the central point of the area hosting bands and DJ's."

The group behind Cloud9 soundsystem describes itself as "bringing back the true rave, to the true ravers" on its Facebook page.

Interestingly all that information now seems to have been removed as has a link to that info on Somerset Live.

I think the Big Secret is no longer a secret, despite efforts for it to remain so.

I know many who would be over the moon with LG but sadly I'm not one of them and not much of a secret and is it that big?????

Just because you don't like him doesn't mean it's not a big deal to the festival as a whole

I wouldnt say Liam Gallagher is big secret in terms of this. One, he has been touted for months and secondly hes touring and pkaying another festival.

Its a decent sized act but hardly an act thatll get any headlines.

Its not bad but it is an act that was never going to live up to any hype, nevermind the hype that was built over this. Would have been far better off saying nothing and just announce him with no build up tbh.

Funnily enough, his comeback show actually made it onto the BBC news.  I saw a headline flash up about half an hour ago.

And the Guardian and the Indo and Metro and the Telegraph

Basically the biggest music news story at the moment.

Really?

I mean solo Liam is nothing like Pulp or Radiohead is he?

Solo Liam is far far better than solo Noel.

Guaranteed 5-6 big Oasis tunes = complete chaos up in the Park.

UNILAD - Oasis to reform?

Thoughts? The tweet is still live.

A member of The Black Eyed Peas accidentally ‘confirmed’ that Oasis will be performing at the Manchester One Love concert this Sunday.

Taboo Nawasha casually tweeted a poster for the tribute gig at Old Trafford, tagging the artists who would be attending, and Oasis were on the list. "

We all know Noel is going to be there and you would think he would go and watch his own little brother. Do people think he would be able to resist the temptation of getting up on stage in front of thousands of people while his brother performs his songs? Would Liam even let him?

I don't think there will be any Oasis reunion, yet I would not be shocked if Noel joined Liam on stage for maybe Live Forever as the final tune. If he did then I think that would validate Emily claim of a really big surprise.

Blimey, it's just gonna happen isn't it?! They're even sort-of talking to each other. Well, not not talking

    • For those who have been to Roskilde before, what is it like for getting a phone signal? To my disappointment, they won't be showing any football matches anywhere so I'm thinking of taking my laptop and trying to hotspot the match on my phone data.   I've had success with this in the past, but never at such a big festival and I've never been to Denmark so not sure how viable this plan is!
    • This Iron maiden thingo at Knebworth seems like its going to be Blue Light bound, i dont think ive ever known another gig to be so pushed on social media and via email! I've been emailed at least five times a week for the last couple of months.    ive entered the ballot for VIP tickets via blue light, and im sure they're going to email me with a 'hey! you didnt win, but as a special thanks here's some half price tickets, fill yer boots' offer in due course - wish there was a way of seeing how many tickets are sold, itd be fascinating reading
    • Bits was absolutely massive. What was it? Three or four stages plus Soho House plus a beach plus would be people transitioning between the stages plus in the chillout areas.   No way was there only 1,000 people in it. When I saw Sofia Kourtesis there it felt like there were just that number watching here alone.
    • Could well be. My gut feeling is Yungblud to play under Foo Fighters who I'll massively shocked if they aren't there. I think Placebo will also be there. My dream 3rd option is that they get The Cure back after a crazy amount of years but I don't see it. RAR don't booked as versatile as they used to years gone by. There is many that are unlikely to appear again.   The biggest thing I took from this year unless you are grab the fast lane addon pass is accept to stand a lot further back to watch your main stage bands to be able to see all you have interest in. I had to sack off a bit of Social Distortion and Within Temptation completely to get up front for Offspring, Maiden and LP....only just made it for that one.   The downside is for next year, booking from over here you cannot get the ticket an an instant app anymore, its €35 euros shipping. Its a nice ticket don't get me wrong bit £30 just for the card
    • Trev, their manager, has sadly passed away. Very grim. Instrumental in getting them to where they are. Seemed like a good bloke when I met him.    On their social media now
