Maybe this is why the info @eFestivals heard about Hot Chip headlining West Holts on the Saturday was wrong, they've been bumped up to headline the Pyramid.

Interestingly I’m 99% sure that Emily Eavis said in her interview with Lauren Laverne the other day that we’re lucky to have the bands we have! Could she have been inferring to the remaining headliners??

How does the "it was Macca but then he couldn't do it" narrative sit with him just doing another gig though? Would he just decide he doesn't fancy it and play Vegas instead if he was lined up?

Was mentioned elsewhere on here he tends to tout himself out as a negotiating tactic, maybe he got made an offer that was too good to turn down. There was also info saying he was playing BST if i recall, then it emerged he wasn't doing it, fits with the narrative that he also dropped out on Glasto.
