If it's the fucking Strokes after all this...

It’s going to be, innit? No poiint kidding ourselves. This is a bum year for headliners, and G has done the best it can from a very limited barrel.

Hoping for a disappointing headliner in order to own........the ticket holders.

Disappointing for the people on eFestivals maybe. And considering how much the opinion of people here differ from the rest of the Glastonbury going festival crowd, it might be a good thing.

Not so sure about that.  Unless I missed something and The National got a gigantic crowd.

It's the killers or the strokes

Got a pal who works for a Country music magazine and he's had pretty general emails saying The Killers & The Cure complete Glastonbury headliners. Could be completely coincidental but he's got these this morning just as Neil says something is coming

    • I think it happened a week ago. Btw, Ela Minus looks like a great addition for the opening free day now. Anyone been to this venue? Is there like a closed place or they just put an open air stage somewhere in the park?
    • I see the weekend tickets have sold out. When did that happen? I recall seeing that Friday day tickets had all gone but was surprised to see today that weekend ones had too.
    • I thought some time back that I could see Get Down Services getting a slot in Woodsies
    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
