Last few years they've dropped a headliner in February then another in March haven't they? Can't see that changing this time round after this morning's just turned out to be a West Holts headliner

My feeling, and this is nothing more than a hunch, is we'll get one in February and another just in time for the first poster in early April.

Yeah possibly. If Macca is playing I can't imagine he just be popped on the poster in April, they'll make a big deal out of that

The Cure could come with the first poster

BST still have a couple of nights to announce and he's rumoured for one of them. You'd imagine they'll announce at the end of this month/start of next and if he's playing there then there's little point in keeping him back.

I'm predicting Macca in Feb and The Cure on the poster.

Hopefully we get a nugget of good info before Feb though to firm up the Macca rumour!

Is he still rumoured for that? Remember reading something on here a while back but heard nothing since

The confirmation email - 'If you have not paid your balance by 7th April 2019', so that is the week it is open to pay off, and the lineup tends to be out just before that week window starts, the week of Brexit?

so i'm going with last week in March, headliner before then.

I’m sure I got a notification of an event involving Michael Eavis for around that time too.

Lineup poster 29th March then, surely?

Didn't they announce a headliner or something on a day of shit news a couple of years ago? Can't remember exactly what it was - anyone remember?

Think so, seems odd that he'd leave a two week gap in his US tour just to come back to play Glasto. If he's popping abck he might as well do a night in Hyde Park too.

If he's announced for BST it's as good as a confirmation for Glastonbury.

Yeah true. Do we know when BST are announcing or is it guess work?

the event's PR firm sent out a newsletter this morning that talked about more festies than just BST, but said (for festivals) "expect announcements to be coming thick and fast at the end of January and into February".

As BST is the biggest they handle then that's likely to be referencing BST.

Bonnaroo doesn't really interest me this year (lineup came out this morning) so my excitement for Glasto just increased even more.. Which I didn't think was possible

Gambino still looking like a likely cross over?

Hoping for Doves headlining John Peel or do we think Park Stage?

I'd take either of those, but The Park would be my preferred choice. The atmosphere over there and the setting for that kind of musical output would be immense.

Gambino only subbing Bonnaroo...surprised by that gives a sub at Glastonbury a bit more scope but I just reckon he'll be picked up exclusive for Wireless.

    • Really well done, Primavera. Maybe the biggest name on the lineup as a surprise. (Ecpecially if Robert joins this)
    • There's one way it can get bigger- if Robert Smith joins her on stage
