Personally I’d be very happy with 1975 headlining (if, as rumoured, it’s alongside Macca and The Cure)

Not a fan of their music, but being born the year after them I shall be younger than all of the headliners for the first time since 2009.

Catfish are actually still able to shift tickets for arenas at the drop of a hat too, mind. They have also got a sizeable teenage girl crowd....

Well colour me shocked, I always thought it was very shading how Sky could get away with breaking transfer rumors and then mop up on Sky Bet with people backing what they said. But it makes sense now if they no longer having anything to do with them.

I always wondered why they promoted Super 6 on Soccer Saturday but never the Sky Boost which they all feature on the adverts.

The 1975 can easily finish with Reading next year although it wouldn't shock me for them to say they'll sub while doing Reading too. Take your Glasto chance when you get it though.

I'm fairly certain Gaga won't be headlining.

I think there's no chance of Florence headlining tbh. There'll only have been two festivals between her last stint and 2019.

My money's on her rocking up at IOW and TRNSMT next year.

FATM and the 1975 are about the same size. Unlike FATM the 1975 are bolstered by their 'youth' following. If we can consider FATM as a suitable headliner then surely the 1975 are too.

This was exactly my thinking. However both FATM and The 1975 have grown since this point

The 1975 are bigger than FATM was in 2015 and definitely bigger than her currently. They’ve stormed the world and are far and away the UK’s current big thing in music. This is the Mumfords argument of 2013 all over again.

Size isn't the issue here. Florence headlined in 2015, she's not doing it again in 2019.

I get the impression a large part of The 1975’s fan base is probably 16 and under. Not sure how many of these would be at Glastonbury. 

They’re big enough to headline but I don’t think they’d look out of place subbing and I’m not sure they’ll have the field packed to the rafters
