New Marychain album announced

Would be an amazing booking, probably not relevant enough anymore but would love to see them headline JP Tent

Edit: Just noticed this has its own thread, my bad

Anyone else seen the Rough Trade albums of the year? Thoughts?

Car Seat Headrest, Angel Olsen, Radiohead and Hinds are all likely to be in my top 10 of 2016 but there a lot on there I've not heard yet that'll need to check out.

I've been going through the list and there's some good stuff I missed on there, there's some glaring omissions on it for me though.

Such as? I have real trouble remembering what year some stuff came out! Could have sworn Konnichiwa came out last year for instance.

Yak and Parquet Courts spring to mind. I'm guessing Frank Ocean and Kanye West aren't there because they've not been physically released. I'd probably wack Xenia Rubinos, The Wytches and Let's Eat Grandma in there. There's probably others but I guess I haven't heard all the competition. If it's in any order Skeleton Tree has to be higher...

Really looking forward to giving the new Justice album a listen tomorrow.

Are we assuming they will be announcing a tour at some point in the not too distant future. What sort of size venue would they play? I'm North London based and wouldnt mind an Alley Pally gig next year - is that a realistic possibility?
