2 weeks exactly til they're due to play, reckon they could be alright but surely if not the only solution will be to bump everyone up a slot and slide Gaslight Anthem in somewhere on the Pyramid as they're free on the Friday :)

This! The line up is severely lacking some Gaslight Anthem

It IS a good call though if they couldn't play

You and Zachary prayed for this Martin...i fucking know you did. Sat there with your little Grohl voodoo dolls you crocheted for each other. YOU MADE THIS HAPPEN!!!

;) ;) ;)

If Foos don't play then it should be Flo. #1 US Album.

well it took them 17 years since their last performance to be asked back so i don't think that's really an issue. they'll go down amazingly regardless of Dave's condition. sure that on stage energy he has won't be in full swing, but do you really think one guy sat/stood still instead of legging it about is gonna change the entire show? if anything it'll give the show a whole new level of impressiveness

I think it's all too easy to just think it's the same performance but just sat down. He's practiced and performed for about twenty years while standing up and running around and all that stuff so his singing and playing guitar is gonna suit that.

Edit: I do think they'll play regardless but there'll be plenty of consideration and maybe a few canned gigs along the way. If this is as bad as it apparently is.

I'd be happy with any of Blur/Swift/Flo tbh. Worst thing for me would be a Foos set at 50% or someone I'm not interested in replacing them cos I have precious little on the other stages on Friday night.

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
