It's just like the suspense when Bowie pulled out of T in the Park and was replaced by The Darkness.

Your unremitting sarcasm / dryness has inevitably put doubt in my mind (and I'm never arsed to google stuff), but tell me this didn't happen, CG.

IOW got Blur when Green Day pulled out so maybe we'll get them too.

So IOW get Blur cos Fleetwood Mac pull out cos of illness and then Glasto gets a recovered-from-illness Fleetwood Mac cos Foos have pulled out.

So who gets Swift? Martin or Couchy?

Someone has just said on the Werchter thread that Pinkpop have confirmed Foo Fighters are still playing there this Sunday as the injury wasn't as bad as first thought.

Needs evidential confirmation.

Their statement says they don't know whether Foos are playing or not.

Goodness I hope Flo doesn't get bumped up, I really can't see the fuss with her! I understand she's got quite a following on her but really not my brew!

Agree 100%

Ah not sure what the guy who posted was talking about then sorry! Is it on their Facebook the statement?

Yep

"Tonight Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters ) cases at a gig in Gothenburg , Sweden. In doing so he has broken his leg . We are currently receiving a lot of questions or the performance of the band at Pinkpop continues. Unfortunately we had as yet no answer. Once more is known , we let you know"

Can't see them pulling out but a 2 & half hour set watching Dave Grohl sat down sounds terrible.

Yeah, they'll play but I can see a scenario where Flo gets bumped up to headline and Foos play a shorter, sat-down / acoustic set during the afternoon / sub slot instead.
