"He's British but the band aren't" leads me to believing it's Bowie or Macca. I had a dream a couple weeks ago that I lost my ticket and Bowie was announced as third headliner so it must be true. If he isn't I'm going back to sleep.

If, as it seems, we're talking about a probably late replacement, then a quote from 10 months ago probably isn't that relevant?

Fleetwood Mac have started dropping Seven Wonders and Songbird from their very rigid setlist the last 2 weeks.

Apparently Stevie and Christine haven't been doing them justice.

Whether that makes them a better or a worse bet to play 3 nights on the bounce i'm not sure.

Personally I reckon there's a Taylor Swift link here, with her mum being ill.

She might need to see how serious she is before she commits to anything in June.

They couldn't just leave it blank and go "Very Special Guest TBA" and bring Blur or Florence in though.

Both of them have played before.

Gah, that's easily in my top three F'Mac tunes, they best restore it soon. Can appreciate that it'd be jolly difficult to perform every night though, just in terms of channeling the necessary emotion never mind the technicalities of it. Edited by Zac Quinn

To not finish a gig with Songbird seems a little weird like.

Hopefully they bring it back for the European leg.

What are they finishing with instead, Don't Stop? Not such a fan, although for the more the more party-keen punters that'd probably go down much better as a 'last song of Glastonbury' than poor ol' Songbird.

It's going to be someone who' "exclusive" somewhere else and until glastonbury or their "exclusive" festival is officially sold out then we wont know. Personally would love it to be blur, as long as it's their back catalogue as a setlist :-)

I still think Prince is in the mix. Neil hasn't been categorical that it's not him and the level of secrecy is very telling. It's quite possible they're doing a number on everyone who thinks they know. ME is now on record giving false and contradictory information (knowingly or not) and it could all be part on one big purple cover up. He's certainly in a different league to most of the other candidates.

Right, this is what I heard last night....

I'm pretty sure that there'll be an announcement this week (said by more than one person, tho press said "we know nothing"), and someone who should know told me Wednesday. I don't know what time it might be.

An announcement this week won't include the 3rd headliner, so I was told.

The 3rd headliner won't be announced until June, I was told. I was told this was because the act was "doing other shows".

By the sounds of things - tho I'm not sure (I did ask Emily, but I'm uncertain of what she said back due to noise) - it seems that the 3rd headliner is something that been put together in the last week(ish).

I heard (that i believe was really said) that Michael has said within the last week that the 3rd headliner is not Fleetwood Mac. I also heard similar saying 'not Prince'.

So make your guesses about that act. :)

(one of the guesses we made last night was The Who, which you lot quickly killed by pointing out they were in Paris that night)

----

So we heard, Hot Chip will headline West Holts on Friday, with WH Saturday headlined by George Clinton playing the 'Sly' role with the Family Stone as a special one-off. ...which today, sober, sounds like it might be a tall story, but perhaps it's not.

We also heard some other bits and pieces, which are listed on the line-ups page (which |'m just going to check over and perhaps tweak one or two).

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
