Given that Neil already said in his roundup that apparently Fleetwood Mac requested too much money and are out... I think they're probably out. Could be wrong, but we have more of a reason to disbelieve them (Especially when you add the 3-days-on-the-trot thing) than we do for Blur.

If I was betting money on it now it would have to be Blur.

Everything points to it being FM, the comments that have been made, Brit with american band..., been around a long time.., it goes on, plus the fact that the two other headliners are big names there still not a massive name and i really do think the only band out of all the rumours to top this could be FM.

Have faith in GF people there holding back a huge announcement!

Loving the way the main argument against Blur is that they stormed it last time.

It's like telling a football team that niw they've won the league, they just shouldn't bother trying sgain.

Blur have a new album out, are reportedly playing different songs than on recent tours and a hell of a lot of people at this years festival won't have been there 6 years ago.

Bring 'em on.

all those comments were made ages ago. From what has been said, it's all changed since then

Don't read too much into quotes by Michael that he makes the previous year - he always says that they've sorted next year's headliners at the end of the festval each year, when clearly they haven't got them fully sorted. The above comment was made, yet apparently the 3rd Headliner may have only been sorted in the last week!

Ah the old Liverpool FC theory! ;)

Great work

RE Grace Jones, I assume you've heard she's in as now SR for West Holts. Would she headline do you think ? And if so that would mean the Sunday due to Hot chip Friday and Glinto sat night?

Would love to see her. Cheers.

Grace is amazing live, she'll definitely make my list of must sees :)

All this. If I'd canned a band everytime I'd seen them perform what I thought was the best they could do, I'd have seen a lot less music over the years.

    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
    • Pretty good imo. Though I'm aware my position of being a big fan means I'm biased.   Reminds me a little of Justice, which shouldn't be that much of a surprise given I've heard Justice played a lot in Muse's pre-show playlists over the years.
