to they send you the info in the form of a rubix cube?!

nope. i get info where all of it might not be true.

In this case it looks like one or other parts of a number of different bits can't be true. The problem I then have is trying to work out which bit is the bit that isn't true.

sounds likely and i think alt-j subbing them does make sense, big sub mind..

No bigger than Ellie Goulding was subbing it or some might say Paulo Nutini. It's just their size of slot. Don't over estimate Alt-J for being bigger than what they are.

It's reading Coldplay/The Chem Bros - Blur/The Chem Bros to me, may be wrong though. I think Hot Chip will be your Friday other sub.

yeah have to say I agree with this.....who would want to follow the kind of energy prodigy can bring to a live show when they are really on form? they are a headline or bust act I feel....pyramid on the Sunday or more likely the other stage on fri or sun(as they cant do sat)

They can't play Friday either, so it's Sunday or nothing.

Don't get Sleaford Mod's at all, seems they are being shoved down peoples throats a bit - kinda like people telling us to like them.

kinda hoping the Prodigy are headlining the other on the sunday - since Alt-J are now 'stage unknown' won't be surprised if they've been moved to the pyramid, or aren't headlining the other and subbing it.

What the fuck is that?

That's probably the reaction Howlett will be looking for. it's worked since Firestarter.

i don't mind this tune as much as the others, the drums remind me of the stuff i listened to in the 90s. TDIME was ok too. wall of death, and the other one, not so much.

    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
