Wishful - Coldplay have been asked by the Eavises to act as a smokescreen so that the Purple one doesn't get his knickers in a twist again this year.

Emily: "We have a big headliner this year but he's temperamental and if he leaks he'll likely cancel. We'd like to use Coldplay as a cover to throw journos off the scent."

The Coldplay information really has put a spanner in the works as it's hard to fit all of the other seemingly realistic rumours in.

Could we REALLY end up with:

Fri - Foo Fighters, Elton John

Sat - Blur, Florence + the Machine

Sun - Coldplay, Taylor Swift

Surely that's TOO big?

Never said it was a confirmation but according to Neils pretty solid info coldplay are playing and flo looks likely too. Not complaining or looking for an argument just wondering. I'd love blur to play.

Elton John is doing nothing other than headlining.

He is the biggest act on that line up, by a long way I'd say.

It's the right time of the month to be announcing a tour... It's payday next Friday, so I reckon announcement today, presale next Wednesday, general sale payday Friday.

If it's a tour AND Glasto, doubt they would announce Glasto until the tour sold out.

Nah. In terms of current ticket sales both Foos and Coldplay are a bigger live draw at the moment. They sell out stadium tours in no time.

Think you mean more most legendary. Doesn't equate to biggest. Look at Dolly on before Kasabian last year.
