I'm having a little reminisce about all the things that have happened in this thread. I believe I have read every page. It's been a fantastic ride. Sometimes it would do my head in with all the bickering but the madness was great.

In what world would Hitler play that far down the bill on Saturday? Surely he's bigger than Azelia Banks.

Nah, 212 is a monster track. All wee Adolf has got is that faithless cover, 'We Come One (Volk, Reich, Fuhrer)'

not cool guys. come on now. show so god damn respect!

Apologies, just some light hearted jesting at the expense of Hitler and ourselves in this thread. No offence intended, wasn't aware his fans were so sensitive (just kidding before you get even more irate!)

3. Baggy4Roses ‘Bob Harris’ rumour – the font of all knowledge regarding comebacks is whispering Bob

2. Bonn Scott, the ‘lovable’ tory and his in-depth knowledge of all things ‘Brian Johnson vocal chords’ related

Hitler (live) or Hitler (DJ set)? that's really the crux of it for me

As I said, I booked Hitler to play a random blues set, wearing lederhosen and a clown wig.

I managed to convince him to open based on the fact that he wanted to enjoy the Glasto spirit for the rest of the day before he returned to the underworld.

To steal a pun from earlier in the thread, he was Fuhrerious that he wasn't asked to headline but he was happy enough I booked him to play. He was also happy when I told him that there were stalls selling German Bratwurst (although he is vegetarian he is happy his country is represented) and also happy enough that they sell Aryan milk at some of the stalls.

I thank you

It'll be a nasty clash with Stalin.

Rumors of a super group being formed under the name Axis of Evil

Edit: ok I know before i get corrected Stalin was not involved in the German, Japan, Italy pact thing

Top 3 moments of the headliner thread for me:

1. baggie4roses and betting slip gate

2. when some people actually thought we'd be getting a weird no doubt & chris martin collaboration as headliner

3. martin and his complete dedication to taylor swift only to be over joyed when it's not her and turns out to be the who

I think this is just getting silly now folks, you've got to keep it realistic. There's no way that listing is accurate. If Noel won't play below Blur there's no way Adolf will play below all them black artists

That must be what Chris Martin is involved with.

you know I was thinking the same thing. Martin, Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini doing the hits of Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Hitler singing Relax...... that would make my weekend!

It's only when you lay it out like this that I realise I will probably not see the Pyramid stage all weekend with the exception of walking past it

Agreed. Worst "top 6" I can remember. Factor in the top 3 on the Other Stage, Hot Chip and Grace Jones (urgh) on the Holt's and it puts pressure on The Park to deliver decent top billing this year.

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
