It's the bane of my (eFestivals) life. I would happily take three poor headliners and a correctly titled thread.

Can't rule out acts that have little reason to come back either. At least all the bands that said they weren't playing ended up not playing.

Are there ever any decent subheadliner performances? I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head from recent years.

Nick Cave was good, I guess, but you'd struggle to call it a popular success.
