Mick Fleetwood ruled out Mac so adamantly, so their fans wouldn't buy tickets thinking they were playing. It would be an insult to their fans if they've now signed.

.... Though literally no-one seems to make sense as headliner right now!

Suppose they may not of signed on at the time

Why the hell would Palma violets know that stuff?

It's too good to be true, it can't be the mac.

No idea but they full on said to the guy that Kanye was headlining the Saturday.

And that poster was the first guy to say which day as well... Normally people just say who's headlining, they'd don't specify the day.

The way I see it that if it is true that Flo' isn't headlining, when I think there is a general consensus she is big enough, the the 3rd headliner must be significantly big enough/legends status for her to be happy to sub one of the nights instead (& choose not to headline any other major fest). I can only think of two bands big enough with realistic prospect of playing: Prince or FM. If it's not Prince it's gotta be the Mac.

So Neil thinks it's not the Purple One and a delayed announcement. Could be one of the following who, possibly, all have a reason to delay:

Fleetwood Mac (get past IoW before allowed to announce)

Stone Roses (if have a new album tie it in with album and tour dates being announced. Could have been a reason why GF were about to announce then didn't if the album has been put back)

Madonna (tickets to sell)

Fleetwood Mac don't do 3 days in a row either.

can't see the doing a 3rd night on the trot with a huge TV audience.

they wouldn't have planned extra late-announced London gigs for Glastonbury weekend if they were planning on being there.

that's not to mention the IoW exclusive/Mick denial.

But what if they were planning not to... but everything changed very recently.

After tonight's info I reckon it's Blur, which would be mixed emotions for me. Having not seen them in '09, with that set inspiring me to start going in '10, it would be fantastic to see them play and round off the festival. However, I've already seen them at Wolverhampton Civic Hall of all places and I doubt they'd do better than the set they did in 2009. I'd see them, but I don't think it would be remembered like the last one was.

FM would be pretty cool too, but I don't think it's very likely.

Not holding out hope for the Mac but I would personally love it to be them, I know they aren't everyones cup of tea on here and would be a poor booking for some of you.

(sorry if these posts are useless, just trying to post more instead of lurking)

It`s all about opinions. Keep posting them mate :)

I was starting to get into the Prince idea.

    • The only number I can find is 90k, but it doesn't really break it down in the way you're asking so it is up in the air in that regard. My only thing here is that I don't think Leeds is in danger or is flagging in sales. I thought last year had an awful lineup so I opted out but apparently a hell of a lot of people decided to go, so I really do believe it is just us lot all being out of touch with what the modern R&L audience wants.   I do think this year has a good lineup although I know a lot of people on here disagree with that, so I am gonna be there and we shall see what it is like on the ground this year in terms of attendance.

    • Hi, I'm selling 1 regular weekend ticket for 420 euros, which is the price I bought it for through TicketSwap (when I sell it there again, I can only get back 350 euros because of their ridiculous service fees..). Can transfer the ticket through Ticketmaster after Paypal payment. Feel free to send a DM!
